yep the babies are growing very fast and they eat loads, four more eggs to wait and see what happens, there fertile but we'll have to wait and see.

He's still molting so he's a bit scruffy...my sister doesn't agree she says he's ugly. when he was on my shoulder she said it and I said "no your beautifull" and he made a buzz noise like he was saying yes.

My only boy in my last clutch is all grown up Then Now He still has an immature beak but his personality is mature kissing and flirting

I want to ring the baby's with proper leg rings what age do I do it? And what size do they have to be?

I can already see a difference in the cere color and the chicks are 1 day old, but I know they could change. But one's cere is the same color as it's skin and the other more white...I know I could still be wrong but I though I should mension it

I'm weirded out......a second egg has just hatched its 9:30pm and the other hatched the same day in the morning about the same time, whats up with that she sat from day 1 on the first egg never came off it....

10th April 2009. I was woken up this morning by cheeping and peeked in and there was a tiny jelly bean chick. I thought it was cute because whne Lumina stepped off to see the baby was moving it's wings so to speak like he/she was saying "Wear's my blanket gone?" Yesterday I was checking looking for a chick..... just to find out I was a day to early *slaps self in the head*

Daddy George is a good helper it's Lumina who doesn't like him touching the babies, she does after 4 or 5 hatch but if it's 4 or less she handles it, but I quess that's her way of saying she can cope. She lets him feed her but not chicks.
