Hi again I'm am very concerned for her health not that long ago I asked for some advise on what to do with an egg that my under aged budgie Kiwi mated with with her brother and laid an egg. One thing that concerns me is why are they mating when there under age? I separated the brother and its been probably a week and just a day ago I saw her poop and its was huge and she strained really bad I was just like no! please not again. then yesterday I noticed the egg but she was interested in it this time, where as last time she was afraid of it then last night I checked in on her and she was sat on it in the corner of the cage, the newspaper chewed up and she's made some sort of ground next. There's also my worry of her not eating because of sitting on the egg. what should I do? Also her sister Coco will she be okay getting around, will Kiwi be protective? The one that I assumed did is a recessive pied but I was told it was a girl at birth I was convinced then it was definitely a boy and now it looks female definitely female.

Good news I was just going to bed when I heard a huge squark! So I zoomed into my room, Found Kiwi perched up in the farest corner of the cage with a full formed egg on the floor in the other corner. I felt hugely to blame, but I didn't think they'd try to mate untill they mature which is 3 months away. What should I do with the egg? should I leave it in case she wants to eat it? Why did they mate so young? It does'nt make sence, as you can see in the pictures they are still very imature. Cere's aren't mature, they have Bar heads and no Iris's I'm going to Look for another cage for the brother to go in today it was a good thing I was saving money.

She's in the cage with her silblings 2 females and a male, I havent seen anything happen like mating but I havent been in the room.But she looks just like her mother did when she was about to lay. I saw her but large yesterday but thought nothing of it... She's even pooping big I'm so scared I was crying she's not even mature. neither is he, he's a whole week younger.....I've seperated them.... please help.... What should I do? I was wondering at what age you sell baby budgie's because I was hoping in about four or five months I'de like to breed my green pair again, 2 months ago they had a clutch of 7 eggs and four chicks came of it(Good for a first time) but yeah i was just wondering. Also I dicied to keep the whole of the first clutch.
