In the wild when a young hen comes into condition do they end up having chicks from an older male or do they not? I'm courious

He isnt with the babies hes own. and the babies are in a seperate cage but toghther They only play outside the cage togherther and as soon as he tries I put him back In his cage

Sometimes all day they only come out for about an Hour hslf an hour, so the rest of the day he's covererd not the babies but he is. Also the babies are 2 months t 3 months and weaned.And when do You worm the babies?? He has his own seperate cage from the babies, the babies all live together in a huge cage but there in my bedroom, George and Lumina the parents are in a different room to rest away from the babies.And after he attempt to mate I put him back in his cage and he stays in all day after that. But it upsets me because I think he's lonely, Hes proberly not but thats what I think

My Male budgie Bailey won't stop mating with my four baby budgie's(two which are boys), perches even a toy donkey I don't know what to do he recently lost his mate Sky who past away. Could this be causing his behaviour? And can I do anything?? I've tryed covering the cage to stop the hormone levels I've tryed letting him out on his own he gets stressed hearing the little ones in the cage, and trys though the mesh. Please help

No but he is, he just plays with and kisses them, some times he mounts them but I put him back in his cage if he does.

The first photo seems to be the one you first called Oushi as her throat spots are closer to the cheek patches than the other budgie......I checked back on the earlier photos :bump: Damn it I could have sworn that it was Kiwi because Kiwi lost her black beak and Oushi is the younger one and she has more black.... haa I don't know my own Budgie's

Is it still okay for her to come out and play with her siblings? I let them out two times a day to fly, 1 on there own with just her siblings then I let the uncle out with the babies.

I can figure out who's who if I watch them for a while but sometimes I still get it wrong, It fustrates me. And the one I think is a hen acts like a cock being friendly and kisses, the one I think is a cock acts like a hen and bites
