Regurgitating But Nothing Coming Out
If there isn't another budgie recieving it he may not. Once you determine if it jus the toys then you can try leaving the toys in there and covering him for more hours each night, how many hours does he get covered now?

Vegetables For Budgies
I said it was there favorite not that they got lots of it My birds get vegies generally twice a week, they get a large platter which includes when available: grated carrot chopped apple brocolli snow peas beans red capsicum silverbeet soaked soup mix (lentils, split peas and barley) peas corn bok choy beetroot celery Most of the time a serve will include atleast three quarters of these items and sometimes all of them, it just depends what's in my fridge at the time. Unfortunately it's difficult to grow my own in our current living situation but soon I'll be able to once we move house next year I also harvest lots of seeding grasses seasonally from a local area where they don't spray and they get those for the rest of the week in addition to a good quality seed and their other supplements.

Regurgitating But Nothing Coming Out
If he is only doing it at his bells, etc chances are he's just hormonal. Can you hear any noises when he breathes (such as clicking)? Try taking the toys away for a few days amd see if he stops, if he stops then that's your explanation

Weird Bugs In Seed?
They sound like Weevils, they can be a big problem for Granaries. If you freeze your seed for a day after you buy it that will kill any eggs off.

Budgie Taking Very, Very Long Time To Eat!
My first suggestion is to check with the breeder what he was eating. Also a photo of his face/beak might help to determine whether maybe there is a problem that isn't immediately obvious to you. WELCOME

Round Two On It's Way
I had others would have like to pair up but I had to let them slide this season as they were pet types and I didn't have enough space, by next season I'll hopefully be in my own house so should be much easier then.

Wheatgrass
I would say because it has a high water content it could cause Diarheoa if fed too often.

December Budgie Of The Month
- Round Two On It's Way
I have the first eggs in my nest for round two, the father is Moe my pet type crested (tufted) boy and the mother is a pretty pet type mauve hen. They are sitting on 5 eggs at the moment although three of these are ones I have found on the floor of the aviary in the last week and just popped in the box on the off chance they are fertile, I found them tucked in corners so I think they have been layed in situ as opposed to dropped off perches, time will tell. They'll be mystery babies if they do hatch Also in cages but with no eggs yet I have: Crested cock X crestbred hen (same pair as last time) (sorry she's nervey and wouldn't stay still for a picture) Grey normal cock X green normal hen (the mother of my current two show babies whose last cock died) Grey opaline cock X grey green opaline hen pet type fallow cock X pet type skyblue dilute hen violet cinn opaline hen X green DF spangle cock (Ozzie) skyblue yellow face cock(the fatty who's not any more) X light green greywing opaline hen Fingers crossed- Queensland Storms .. And Budgies..
It was devestating to loose mine, I lost a beloved galah, 4 tiels and two quails, to lose pets you care so much for can be one of the most horrible feelings, pets can put a smile on your face when the rest of your life seems to be falling down around your ears. How many times have we seen images in the media of dogs rescued from flooded rivers and seen the smiles of their owners when they have them in their arms again.- Queensland Storms .. And Budgies..
I lost an aviary in the wind storms we had here earlier in the year and those windstorms were nothing compared to what Brisbane is currently going through, I would say everyone should be keeping an eye out their windows for lost birds during this time- Bar Spacing?
Did you check the spacing on the edges of the little wire panels on the bottom section (between the side of the cage and the first wire heading towards the door) it looks wider there (could just be the photo though)- Bar Spacing?
Measure your bar spacing again. I count 29 bar spacings (including one each for the tubular steel on each end) over a 45cm width equals 1.55cm per spacing - too wide- Bar Spacing?
- New Tropical Fish Tank
It has completely cleared now and I'm putting two guppies in tonight (they are floating in the bag at the moment) and then the bulk of thm will arrive next week- What Should I Do ? I Dont Want To Risk It!
You have posted almost identical to this topic before, a couple of times in fact we have given you this advice Here's one: http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index....c=22889&hl=- Opinions Please
She is being handreared after the poor efforts of her parents so she is getting plenty of protien in her mix, Vetafarm Neocare plus cooked whole egg and has now started cracking seed by herself as we.- Opinions Please
she is too young, as the title said 'opinions please on this show CHICK' Sorry guys, I'm just tired, she's about 4 1/2 weeks old in those photos. She's starting to get more feather now and has also started training in the show cage.- How Long Does It Take For Large Pin Feathers To Open?
I will see how well developed her feathers are in ten days, if she's not ready then there isn't much I can do....- How Long Does It Take For Large Pin Feathers To Open?
