Genuine Inos V Artificially Created Iinos
Yes it is just an injury. She is also missing a few feathers on her back which we are doubtful whether they will grow back but we'll see when she starts to moult. There is a good chance she comes from a dom pied background as she is from the woman that I got all my danish pied birds from.

Feathers And Kaz's Other Breeding Pair
Gosh I wish! My OH is in the Navy and lives on base so when he comes home he is used to having a tiny room to look after and someone to wash the dishes, etc for him, the idea of keeping a whole house tidy and putting your own dishes in the dishwasher is just too much!! That being said if I prod him he will build my aviaries so as long as he does that I'll forgive him

Genuine Inos V Artificially Created Iinos
Cool, I'm so impatient for her to moult and get rid of these revolting feathers so I can see her colour properly. Her foot is a worry but if she can perch okay she would have some beautiful babies I think.

Wasn't suggesting mine was a df just that it was one way you could get a 'artificial ino' Why would her colour be so faint? Would that just be that her marking colour is cinnamon?

Well there we go, if her clear feathers were even more spread then that is one way to get a bird that looks ino but isn't A pied bird with no colour but crossed with a red eyed variety so that you see the red eyes. Also what about a DF spangle fallow :hap: Both my fallows are spangle also so theoretically I could produce a DF spangle with the red eyes of the fallow.

Babies Are Fledging
All the other colours seem to be okay but for some reason I can only see a faint shadow of colour on that photo?

Babies Are Fledging
Does Nervada have any body colour? She looks white on my picture

Newbie In The House!
If it helps here is a photo of one of my blue babies at about 10 weeks.
-
Newbie In The House!
I would guess around 4-5months then

Newbie In The House!
The trick to tell is whether there are bars on his head that go right down to his nostrils, if yes then stil quite young.
-
Newbie In The House!
If Louie's Cere(area around nostrils) is all pinky-blue then he is a boy if there are white rings around the nostrils then a girl, unless s/he is one of the few colours where this doesn't work ...should say that is if he is a baby, ifhe's full grown then blue for boys, pink-brown for girls.

I'm So Excited!
Jenene you should contact the breeder and explain that you would have loved to have more but couldn't afford it and if the pet shop isn't going to pay him much if anything for them(which they might not if they are adults) then they would be welcome at your place

I Think I Have A Creamino!
Size isn't too much of an issue for me anyway, mine are mostly pet types.

I Think I Have A Creamino!
Kaz I would just like an unrelated cremino so that I can put it to a split albino cock from here, good for the gene pool as I only have one albino at the moment

I Think I Have A Creamino!
Jimmy if I end up getting one from Kaz they could proably travel together

I Think I Have A Creamino!
I have a friend probably flying from Perth in August, if the offer still stands then I migh take you up on it .....jenene your cock must be split for albino and this one will be a hen

Genuine Inos V Artificially Created Iinos
I'm pretty positive she isn't a feather duster. Her dodgy feathers and foot are due to an attack from a hen when she was a baby, we are waiting for her to moult and grow her feathers back and get rid of her dirty feathers(due to a cream that was put on her)

I Think I Have A Creamino!
I'm sending you a postpac

Aviary Extension
I would let him make the slab as usual and ask him to leave a little quick set cement behind, then after the slab has dried mix a little and put it in the gap. Such a small amount won't expand enough to cause problems then

Genuine Inos V Artificially Created Iinos
She is about 4-5 months old so yes she is young...they look long in that photo but they aren't in real life. I think it is just because of her dodgy foot that is on a funny angle, makes the photo look odd.

Genuine Inos V Artificially Created Iinos
Ummm... maybe it's late and my brain's nt working Neat but I didn't understand a word you just said ...on another note I have had a good look over her and she has a clear patch on the back of her head like a dom pied and the few spangls she has are in the top quarter of her wings like a dom pied and the violet sheen is faintly on her chest and rump...like a dom pied BUT she has red eyes

Genuine Inos V Artificially Created Iinos
Here she is, if anyone can tell me what she is it would be greta because I am at a loss. The closest I can figure is a fallow, the few odd markings on her wings(the ones on the other side are even less) are cinamon not black but like I say she only has a shadow of colour not proper fallow colouring on the rump. You can see how dirty she is, and it won't wash off so she'll have to moult it out! The barring on her head is only right near the top and I expect it will disappear completely after she moults(se is only a baby as you can probably tell)...By the way I checked and I am officially going mad as she does not have iris rings but she may get them when she is older.
