  5. just because someone else paired him up doesn't mean that he is old enough... I know I was trying to pair up at 14 and 15 years old... didn't make me ready...

  7. Glad I'm not the only one who can't find where stuff is after the children play with them
  8. I've been talking with a friend who is into pigeon breeding, he has found the same thing with people over there... it must be something to do with birds If its been going on for years it must be right... even if the science proves otherwise... I'm not sure what it is... I really enjoy reading your posts, I don't always fully understand but that's more about me being an idiot rather than your writing Generally I don't say much in these kinds of threads, because I don't have the knowledge to join in but I do read them again and again and again. I look forward to reading many more with you and Daz having discussions on different genetics and other topics. Keep it up.

  19. wow. You have already been of great help in the forum and I am sure we will all benefit greatly from your knowledge.
  20. Ahhh now it makes sense! I was wondering how you know which bird it was...
  21. marking fostered eggs would be good expecially when you are breeding with birds that you are unsure of their genetic makeup, that way you will know what cock/hen is hiding certain genes...
  22. For someone that ticked no for breeding and no for show breeding and no for club you certainly know lots
  23. hmmm.. Well I look at it this way... if you don't move them the mites will continue to get them... at least if you move them to a metal cage the mites shouldn't come back... You'll have to re treat the birds but it might be your only option... How old are the babies now? Wait for the others to answer cos I'm not experienced enough...
  24. Great idea's must implement some of this when lip and len return with kids in tow...
  25. Does anyone care what I'm saying??? Probably not cos its the same as everyone else YF2 with pictures required
