  1. Nice looking birds! Seriously, fantastic looking.
  2. From those photos I am gonna say a girl... Seems like a lot of white on that cere.... If you can get photo's where the cere is in focus that would be easier to tell... Maybe try using a macro setting if you're not using a mobile...
  3. Wow! Great marketing skills there!!
  4. Where are you typing in the image link? You should just be able to type in the link and then click post...
  5. I agree with Fordmob... This is much cuter...
  6. Is there a class for them at nationals? Or do they just get shown with other crests?
  7. I believe the Fraser Coast Budgerigar Society is the local Cub up there, don't know much about them other than they don't have a website LOL. An ad online promoting the club says they alternate between meeting in Maryborough and Hervey Bay every month... If the SQBBA website is up to date then Steve Ribchester is the Secretary. Sorry I can't help anymore... On a good note you'll be closer to Daz so great birds won't be hard to come by... AND Nationals are in Sth Queensland next year so there's another positive.
  8. You've got 35 mins. LOL. Actually you didn't say EDST so I'll add 4 hours on...
  9. Yeah, personally not my favourite but to each there own. I've seen them online before but never heard of them being bred in Australia.
  10. The was a thread on this a few years ago which I can't seem to find now but basically KAZ is right comes down to mutations... I'll keep searching for the thread and if I find it I'll add a link.
  11. Happy Birthday KAZ! Hope you have a great day!!! Thanks for everything you do on the forum.

Before I get chastized for my spelling... It should've been they're Indian myna...

There Indian Myna birds right? The only good one's a dead one. They are killing off our native wildlife by taking over their nests... The only thing that stands up to them is the lorikeets.
  14. United or City? LOL Welcome to the forum. I look forward to reading your experiences. I'm sure you guys in England do things differently to us over here, It's great to hear different viewpoints and different ways of doing things.
  15. So that's where you go on your long sabbaticals... Banned from a budgie forum lol... That's gold.
  16. It's moments like these when the old :hap: :hap: :hap: came in handy... Instead I'll just say, Hahahahahaha!!!!!
  17. I'm not sure how far Rawalpindi is from Lahore but that is where the Budgerigar Society of Pakistan is based... If showing is what you are interested in then that might be an option otherwise I'd just breed the olive green exhibition with your pet types...
  18. Either pairing would work. The size of the bird would be somewhere between a normal pet type size and an exhibition size. You could then breed fom those babies and get other exhibition size to further increase the size of your birds... If you can get both male and female exhibition size birds I would do that... Even if they are both olive green. That way you could pair them up to ensure you have more Exhibition size birds. Then there children could be paired to your other pet type birds and the best of their offspring paired back to the original exhibition sized birds... That's what I'd be doing if I was in your position. Does that make sense?
  19. Sorry to hear that Splat. Your white Boy was a great bird!!!
