Troubled Fledgling?
Well I'm not an expert but it sounds like you've done the right thing by separating him from the parents... is there a chance they want to start on another round and that's why they are forcing him out? Just make sure you have some nice low perches in the nursery cage... I am sure you will do well with the chick, you seem to be a very sensible breeder who looks after your birds well. good job

All Systems Go!
Yes Liv I am looking forward to waking up one day and seeing a thread on here called "A tour of Nubbly5's Bird Room" It looks fantastic with the new water system and the nest boxes... I'm allowed to dream That said Liv, yours and 007's is nothing to be ashamed about, you've done a great job so far and I know it will keep getting better and better. Your birds must be very happy And they are some very nice birds at that...

My White Face Chick Is Turning Yellow Face
Not sure, I guess it's a yellow face but thats strange... the white isn't like an off white colour or something??
-
When Can You Tell?
its a pretty freaky photo isn't it  Most of it is out of focus but for some reason I like it... GB so you would say the blue is a spangle and the green is a normal? I didn't realise that the pied marking is displayed on the skin of chicks... is it a major change or just a slight change?

When Can You Tell?

When Can You Tell?
Just wondering how early can you tell what mutation your chicks will be? I know with Ino's and others you can tell because of the eyes and opaline you can tell because it has white down, but what about normals/spangles/pieds and the others??

Caked Vent (completely Blocked)

-
All I Can Say Is Wow
how could you keep your eye on 240 breeding pairs??? that place must be quiet
-
Caked Vent (completely Blocked)
Yeah I agree with the others... a vet check up sounds like your best option... sometimes they can look like they are getting better only to take a steep dive...
