You probably already know this but i will say it anyway - when it comes to the crested budgies you should not put two together as the mutation reacts badly when put together and you end up with no babies or deformed ones. Thats what i have read anyway.

The photos dont do them justice you cant see the colour at all! They are really gorgeous babies! Keep up the good work neat!

I have heard that aswell but i have a boy who is a good breeder he still lands on my shoulder when i go in the aviary aswell. He never leaves his girlfriend alone.Its all he wants to do!! And the eggs are always full. So i guess it just depends on the bird maybe if she is not showing signs of making friends then she may be too tame and would rather your company?

Congratulations on your eggs. I agree with kaz. So our advice is that once your babies are feathered up and left the box you should remove the hen or the box whichever is easier otherwise they will just continue to lay.You can let her lay in the future but just give her a break. So good luck with your babies i hope they are happy and healthy.

He is beautiful! I would say he would be under 6 months if he has a black leg ring and also if you look his eyes are completley black (no iris) which indicates he is under 8 months(i think). Either way he is gorgeous and i am jealous!

They are very nice looking babies i love the first cinnamon shes cute! Does the white one have red eyes? I am not very good with genetics but she could be a lacewing or fallow if she has red eyes do i see blue coming through on her tail? She could just be a sky blue cinamon wing also. Sorry i am not much help.

okay they are making me a liar! I just went and checked on them and the green has faded to a cream colour??? I swear they were green yesterday??? One of them possibly two are not yellow faces they all seem to be getting blue around there legs so i might just get cobalts? So if he is a violet and she is normal grey which colour is the dominant one? Should i have more violets and mauves than greys or cobalts??? Here are the photos they are not the best.
