How Do I Introduce New Birds Into The Aviary?
Me... I'm a little bit different. After quarantine, I usually put them in their cage in my bird room, which adjoins the aviary for a day and night, then I put them in their cage IN the aviary and let them come and go as they please. With most of my birds, they are out like a shot and never go back. With Tweet Tweet (who we found in the backyard), he continued to go back and forth and actually sleep in the cage for a few nights before feeling comfortable in the aviary. I have found that this works for me... but I agree with the others about putting them in in the morning and watching them closely. I hope it goes well.

Lizards Vs Snakes
I have a beardy... he is the sweetest guy. Water dragons do NOT make good pets. They are generally not very friendly. My beardy 'Albert' is happy to run around my unit or nap on my shoulder. I would never let a Water Dragon do either... especially sit that close to my head!!!

My Sick Budgie
thankyou. i needed help. i dont feel as alone. leanne No worries mate... we are all for each other. Budgies are very sneaky at hiding their illness... because if they were in the wild ans showed signs of being sick, their flock would leave them behind as they would be killed by pray. So... try not to beat yourself up about it... You've seen it now and are doing something about it. The warmth should make him feel better. You'll need to shine it down one end of the cage so he can choose to sit under it or not. I'd also leave it on all night if possible. He needs the warmth. Also... do he like Millet??? If so you could try hanging a piece of it near his perch if he has the energy to eat it. Good luck with him... hugs xo

Some Kind Of Protuberance Near The Eye
Poor girl... I'm not sure what that is. It doesn't look great, and if it has been getting bigger, as you said, I'd be getting her to an Avian vet. You have to be really careful with things around the eyes... Good Luck and please keep us updated.

Budgie Wanting To Start Second Clutch
I'd do that too... IF you want a second clutch. If you don't, I'd remove Mum to a cage to let her rest and let Dad finish raising her... Totally your choice. If she's up to another one and if YOU want her to have another one.
