  1. WOW So many talented people!!! I am not really talented in anything particular. I have created 2 websites, as well as others which are not really doing anything. Totally Tiels Forum Net Savvy Mums I am good with digital media - editing photos, animation, video and music etc. I think i am pretty good at paper tole ( 3D decoupage) - I haven't done any for ages!! I must get back into it. Here is my favorite (photo doesn't do justice as its though glass) I worked for 6 months on McLeod's Daughters as an extra, but that didn't contain any real talent but was brilliant for my ego My pride and joy is a teleplay of a complete episode of House Md I wrote last year Hours upon hours of research and time when in to it - it took about 6 months to write (it's 75 pages). I am also writing a thriller movie and am looking into doing a TV series as well I can also sew anything i put my mind to. I can also work with wood

  6. You are such a caring budgie owner and so open to input from others Angel is a very lucky girl :hap:
  7. Brilliant!!!! :hap: :hap: that cage is perfect! The only change that you can make is changing the perches around so they run from front to back rather than side to side (you will need to shorten them) - or even better, use natural branches instead of the dowle :hap: She should feel much more comfortable. Angel is a beautiful name :angel1:
  8. :hap: :hap: I will be sending you my spring water bill this week! All the extra water i am drinking to replace the fluids lost though tears that run down my face is going to cost me a fortune :hap: :hap: :hap:
  9. :hap: B) :hap: OMG :hap: :hap: :hap: :hap: :hap: :hap:

As if anyone would answer that - I'm sitting very happily on the fence :hap: Have you ever watched a movie in the cinema and then snuck in to watch another movie after??
  11. Some people just dont deserve to have pets Just a little advice - dont take the puppy your self - as aggravating as it is - you will be trespassing and stealing if you do. Best to leave it to the RSPCA after you have reported it.

go fish. do you have a phobia?
  14. Not sure exactly. Could be scaley mite?? How is their diet?? if they are moulting, they might need a vitamin boost.
  15. It looked like a bite to me. I am so pleased you got to a vet. Personally i don't like to leave the light on during the night as i feel it takes away valuable rest. Perhaps bring her cage inside for the night so she is out of the cold.
  16. If you have some white pepper smother her feet in it. She shouldn't peck at it then and it will stop the bleeding. Remember to keep her warm and apply pressure to the wound. You can also create a collar out of something to stop her from being able to peck at her feet
  17. Just leave the flour on the wounds. it helps clot the blood. Good luck with the vets tomorrow. let us know how you go

Yeah. looks pretty young and stressed from those pictures. Remove the lettuce and replace with spinach. I would also add a calcium supplement to his water every day for the next 2 weeks because s/he looks a little vitamin deficient to me. I don't get mad easily - but pet shops drive me crazy
  19. I have been saying he - Sorry SHE I feel it would be very unlikely that a Tiel or a budgie has done this - after 14 years of having the two breeds together i have never experienced any blood from a tiff. Perhaps she got her leg caught in something??
  20. He looks like he has been attacked I would keep him warm and quiet until you get him to a vet. You can put betadine on any visible wounds. He will probably need some antibiotics - especially if he has been bitten by a rodent.
  21. Has the blood come from the wing??Also. Batheing it will cause the bleeding to start agian. Just leave it for now
  22. Put a warm light on the cage use a 25 to 40 watt globe. Put white pepper (or flour) on the wound and apply pressure until the bleeding stops. Let him rest in the cage with the warm light for now while you get hold of a vet.
  23. That looks great I bet they are very happy with their home
