  1. What a lucky thing you opened it and didn't just throw it away! if it was cheeping it means it is strong and was ready to hatch anyway.
  2. Your first baby is a hadsome dominant pied male. OMG i cant believe he got better from the swollen air sack - thats amazing ! It's this one isnt it... Well done!!!!! did you do anything to treat it???? They are all beautiful babies :rofl:

  4. Any breeder worth their salt will know which birds are related closely. Some relation is okay, just not real close like brother/sister or mum/son etc remember quarantine for all new birds from your existing birds and if the new birds are from different places then they also need to be quarantined from each other too.
  5. How sweet I have budgies and tiels who preen each other - its lovely when the different species get a long.

    with bird cages its all about flight sapce If the pretty cage has the same flight space as the "boring" cage, then there is nothing wrong with getting the pretty one The boring cages are great for putting play gyms on the top

  18. Hello and welcome Also increase the amount of dark hours she receives by covering her cage earlier with a dark cloth - it will reduce her hormones.

  23. can you provide a photo?? Cleaning very young chicks can be tricky as there is a great risk of chilling. Is it caked on them? What nesting material are you using?
