Blue and the Vet Visit
You can get it from many pet stores and your vet should house some also. It's excellent for hardening up poos and restoring ill birds back to health. I'd personally try to avoid getting him wet where possible if he's that ill and just pluck the affected vent feathers and keep him warm... Feet can be cleaned with warm water but wetting down his vent and feathers will chill him internally also.

Black Cats Worst For Allergy Sufferers?
I personally feel it goes on type of fur. I have 4 Cats :what: One long haired part (Kaz think burman I thought ragdoll) Cat who's black and extra curly and fluffy *midnight*, we have her kitten who is now 3, but she's double coated and seal pointed with blue eyes *tipsy*, we have my grampy's inheritated cat who's a white long haired boy, who's not as fluffy as the black long haired girl *Vronsky* and last but not least my sisters Short haired black cat *delilah*... I'm allergic to the Midnight and Tipsy (which I beleive is based on fur type) and yet totally fine with Vronsky (different fur to her) and Delilah. Double coated cats and frizzy curly long haired cats set me off the worst, but fine haired cats not at all most times Congrats on your new kitty, he's gorgeous!

So What Is My Little One
You seem very interested in the genetics of birds I'll give you a link to a site which is like my "learning bible" on outcomes from pairings http://home.gil.com.au/~dwellsadsl/prbsinc/index.htm Click on pairings then look up the ones you wish to learn In time you'll get used to it and be able to work out multiple genes combined in pairings and outcomes :what: Hope it helps.

Hey Everyone Heres Some Updated Pics:)
Unbelievable... she is soooo pretty! Can I ask how you get that mutation? What were her parents? I have a Sky Blue YF2 Greywing split to recessive cock paired in a breeding cage right now with a Grey Opaline hen... is there anyway I could get a chick like this out of them??? Or are the sex linked mutation not with the right bird to achieve it? If you have a Yf2 sky greywing to a grey opaline hen you can't get greywing in there unless the hen is split to it and opaline won't show unless the cock is split to it. You'll get 50% yf normals and 50% normals unless they both carry any of those genes hidden (recessive, greywing or opaline)

So What Is My Little One
It's not opaline and the down is not a clear white to be opaline so it's a green dom pied... I can't tell sex yet, those photo's and it's age aren't revealing enough traits yet I'd say give it another week then take another photo and ask again.

Could Someone Identify Her Please?
I'm not convinced yet... It's a young bird only just going through it's moult by the look of it, the Dom pied and spangle are definate but I'm not sure on yf... It's face and body has a strong yellow and it's body should have more blue and not so green for a first moulter... They usually come out blue with yellow... I'm yet to see a yf who comes out dark green. I think it's a green who carries Yf but isn't yf itself.
