By the photo,I would think.the wings are a bit heavy,as a UBC,you can't see the end of the wings in the photo. A photo in a show cage,may show a totaley different look.

While you are at it,pop in & get the doctor to have a look at your sun spots,take the tip, from some one who has had a sun spot burnt off.

Dave ,this is just my opinion,you may be giveing them to much medication,out side of worming,my budgie's get apple cider vinagar,3 or 4 times a week,Mix rate of 10mils to 1 ltr of water.Garlic oil mixed in the seed once a week.When I buy a bird,it goes streight to the breeding box & I put one of my own birds with it,if they breed well & good,in most cases they don't.By puting one of my birds with it,its like a test sample,if it gets crook or vice the verca,I can do something about it.In all the time I have been doing this I only had one bird get crook.touch wood.

I use a mixture of kitty litter & pine shaveings,in a icecream container in the nest box,makes it very easy to clean nest boxs,just put in a fresh icecream container.

I f you have room to place the cage away from the wall,youcould place the nest boxes on the back of the cage & then you get to user all the boxes.If not place on the front of the cages & cut a wire or 2 as Kaz said.

She is a tuffed,it will look like a cocky crest,when she grows,if she is from a crestXcrest,size will be a problem,Breed them to normals & pick the best,to put back to a crest.Size is one of the main thing to look for,when breeding crests.

Dave I hope you are not paying to much for those birds,its a trap when you start out,you can pay to much for birds, if the person you are bidding against,is ib the same boat as you,& can make a plain bird a dear bird.It is best to get the assistance,of a experianced breeder,to help you select the right birds for you to breed with. :laughter:

You are doing the right thing MB,By breeding crest to normal,if you want to show them,if you breed crest to crest,you will breed only small birds.breed your best crest to the best crest breed & build up your stud that way.Will look out,for your crests at the sheilds.

Melbourne,you have been given the wrong information.You pour the seed in the open V & the clean seed drops out under the V & the husks drop into the box,you will only get a very little dust in your vac bag,just give it a try & you will see how it works.

I have just been in & had a look at the ebay item,If you go in & look at his feed back page,#290244668806 he stated 30 sheets, on this lot he did'nt state how many sheets,He has no come back on you.How much dose he want you to pay.Iwould put it into despute if he will not execpt your bid.Fire off a email to ebay & let them handle it,tell them the other # number with the sheet number & this # had no number of sheets,& they should make him accept your bid of $25.
