I have the same problem, My Cin Grey doesn't like any girls he was paired up with he is in the club (Laughing out loud) ( aviary ) and Hopefully uses the right lines on the girls and actually bonds .. He just likes to be left alone and watch everything (Laughing out loud).. I think he is the geek type ; )

Move the perches so that she has ample room and isn't getting her tail *squished.... have a look if you need to move them the do it ..... I am sure there is nothing major with her * tails sound right, however if you feel doubt take her to a Avian Vet not a normal one the prices are the same ( Consultation fee $46 Mine is ) and get them to double check.. Or ring them up and just ask them a question PLEASE Don't put her in until after quartine time has subsided better to be safe then really sorry.. Keep up with fresh Veggies and Vitam supp and she should be A okay... It's pretty daughting with a new bird, not knowing if it's health is okay, or etc But it'll be sweet in the end... Hi Armchairangel... How close are your perches to the walls of the cage???? Secondly what does the end of the feather look like ( The ones that fall out ) Are they smooth with a dome like end or are they straight, cracked, bloody, hollow???? ........ What about her flight feathers? Are they they same or is it just the tail feathers????

Hey Shazza Like Elly said try and post a picture of Barry, Also Don't put your new birds in the cage with Barry until at least 3 - 4 weeks.... You want to make sure that they are well and aren't sick or have anything, ( Quartine ) Trust me I just had 2 new birds and found out that they have Beak and Feather and I am very lucky that i read the post on Quartine as all my birds would have caught it)..... Best of luck with barry, if you can't post a of him, maybe a vet is your next best thing...

Hi Ram, I am not too sure about the Aleo I guess it is natural so it shouldn't hurt them, However more experience members will read and post you soon I am sure.... With Egg binding I am aware that it is lack of Calcium in their diet which is what makes their eggs shells hard or it mayalso be age as well if you use the search button I can remember reading past post on the egg binding... Good Luck with it all.....

I am sure she is lacking calcium, that is why she is eating the eggs.... How old is she??? More experienced members will be by shortly no doubt they should have some answers for you

I have no idea about this topic what so ever, so My answers are THe chicks are fostered ( YOu never know ) and the chicks would all be male.. huh???? I haven't the clue But Daz I tell you what, there is no way I could remember any of those splits, and genes.... Good luck guys with the answers

Hi Jules, I am not expert but is the bird is losing it's feather at the front..( Chest) It could be bored if it is alone. Try and take a photo of the bird ( what breed )... Apart from feathers and Scaley is it okay, eating, flying, etc??? She really should take it to the vet! Everything has feelings... Glad to hear your bubs are doing well

I spoke tot he breeder today and advised him of what the vet has said, it was willing to reminburs me the vet cost and said that he would take them back and refund me, i told no I just wanted to let you know as they came from you...... Their cage has to be kept spotless My next door neighbour gave me stuff to clean the Breeding cage out with so that was a good thing, and no stress as this can flare it up. so these poor bubbas are quarantine for life, so free flights are over, ...
