I'm Baaacccckkkkk Miss Me ?
HEY ALL IT'S BEEN A WHILE.... Sorry But updates since I have last spoken Snow white 2 eggs weren't fertile... I got over that.. Put them all into the Aviary and she had 5 eggs WOW...... 2 days later they were all on the floor and the worst thing is one had a little bubba ( 5mm ) in it Then Angel my other one had 2 eggs, and kicked one out and one is left and starchky has one ( Man is she a feisty B*ITC* ) so they are laying eggs just got to keep the dam buggers in the nest boxes , I am guessing it is because they are a little young... I will get there... So how the *** is everyone... I am about to read the 5000 + topics LMAO... I started my own business that is why I haven't been on Although have thought about you all every time I clean the Aviary LMAO....

- Re Sitting On Eggs
LMAO - I REALLY love my birds that is the thing i am too attached to them..... Especially when I am outside having tea with Hubby and goes mad for not paying him attention cause i sit there and watch my birds hehehe.... I like am sure others assumed it would be alot easier then this However I will truimph it.... and give me 8 months and there will be picture posted of my widdle bubbas... Once this is mastered I am planning on getting into the showing of budgies :budgiedance: 8 massive grin ... I am only young to this and i'll get there especially with all of you here to listen to my winging and complaining LMAO ... THANKS GUYS!!!- Breeding Hen Turns Her Back On Her Eggs
Thanks mate!!!- 3 New Birds For My Breeding Room
not wrong about the wow factor the colbalt is stunning and i must say the white patches on the green ... different : )- Eyes
Try a little warm water and clean the area first then check for foreign particles maybe a scracth or a bit of seed, dust.. keep an eye *pardon the punt hehe on him for 24 hours and signs of swelling or more redness or puss take straight to the vets...- A Few Questions
Good Luck, i know what it is like with odd numbers I bought 2 birds first then 3 , 4, 5,6 ,7 , 8 one died and i have and 8 on loan hehehehe- Some Questions
Just double check it with the vet, the last thing you want is to lose another bird when it could be prevented, it way be nothing sounds more like a lice thing then anything Major, but still i am not qualified to say, BUt i am qualitfied to say WHAT A NICE looking bird...... he is cute... Like Elly said usually when birds are picked on it is their back that takes the brunt of it HOWEVER, my Starchky will go for anything when she is in a mood, she has hurt Wings, necks, so it could be a fight wound, still better safe then sorry...Good luck and lets us know- Is French Moult Contagous?
It does loook like french Molt - I agree with Elly speak to the Avian vet first... It is a Grey area of discussion ..... At worst you'll have 2 runners. You not planning on breeding them so there isn't much concern for the youngens, This is a personal choice, that only you can make think first though and get an opion form a vet... MY opion only... Good luck with this adventure all the best- Breeding Hen Turns Her Back On Her Eggs
Maybe - that is a good thought THOUGH!!!- Please Tell Me!
I am glad to see even though you are young, you can see what is right. Like elly pointed out... Pet owners don't even look after cats & Dogs good enough.. I have 2 dogs 9 birds 3 horses and they all get wormed and checked. sometimes in life we all don't agree on things but when it comes to a life that is in your hands you would want the best for it???....I know I do- How Long?

as most of you all know I am haveing a bad run with my breeding (1st time ) but a reply got the better of me re: re sitting on eggs, I don't know how that works, not that i am doubting that it does I have lookied high and low on more info on this. I just don't see how it will work, as i understand that the eggs need to stay warm incubate - but if they are warm . cold. warm cold . how will a chick develope???? it is so very confusing - Please anyone with info on this please let me know I am wrecking my brains out here. we all know that i am a extremly impaitent person ( don't even use spell check (Laughing out loud) ) so thank you all for listening to me winge and complain - But that is what we are all here for eh?- Breeding Hen Turns Her Back On Her Eggs
