Breeding Conditions ..... Extra Daylight Hours, Plenty of fresh foods and veg and water .... I also heard that the sound of running water can trigger them into breeding condiditons too

Hey guys reading a few old posts .... so have a few questions .. 1. What is budgie starter? and what is it used for ?? 2. Breeding Aid? Now 1 what is it and 2 is this used to help boost them into breeding conditions????

okay ... So from my previous post re: mites I havere done the breeders avairy ..... Treated the spare nestboxes with COOPEX ... I striped the avairy of all perches feeding and water dishes this included Cuttlebones, Mineral Block and Chew toys ...... Vaced all excess stuff from floor of avairy and I washed the whole avairy down in Hot water ( Next time i will wear gloves) ..... As my base is timber / wood i scraped all the doo doo's off as per bi weekly cleaning routine ..... and treated the base and walls with the Mist of coopex ...... Went in search of new perches ..... ( Climed trees like a monkey *glad i don't have neighbours ....... washed and sun dried all new perches and gum leaves ...... and went on yet another hunt to have a climbing perch ... ( goes from floor too almost the top found this rather useful for the fledglings) so that got the wash down and sun dried treatment too ..... Replaced the nest boxes and materials ..... Only to find ( 6 EGGS ) in Dave's birds ( he named it that ) nestbox ...... she has pulled sooo many chest feathers and as looking rather bauld ..... Replaced all seed and water dishes cuttlebone and mineral blocks ...... ..... So that was it .... Not happy that my batteries were dead in the camera thought : ( THE ONLY THING I AM WAITING FOR IS THEM TO NOT GO BACK TO NORMAL DUTIES ..... as it was a huge make over ....... so i will be watching them very closley ......

okay. Spoke to the Vet and wrote it all down this time .... (Laughing out loud) I have to make the solution up in both a paste and spray form ... 25g to 4 ltr of water ...... Empty nesting materials , Paint all the nooks and cranies and mist Nest box Let dry ..... and Mist new nesting material ....... This will then get onto the birds .... Mist all perches if not replacing them all .... and give the aviary a mist all over .... Taking out all food and water containers ..... And making sure not too directly spray birds as mat get into the eyes and Nose .... As the dilution is mild it is completyl harmless to the Babies and Eggs as well as the Birds ... However it can be made stronger and use around the house for Spiders, Fleas, Cockaroaches, Misquitos and etc .... No retreatment is needed but recommend that avairies be treated each season to prevent and TERMINATE any new ones. Didn't know that my Vet is a breeder too (Laughing out loud) and uses it as well ..... I have treated the 2 soare nest boxes and waiting for them to dry So I can then vac the avairy and treat it ..... Fewww Glad this is over, Not a hard as I first thought .... THIS WILL TEACH ME TO WASH ALL NEW PERCHES AND GUM LEAVES / BOTTLE BRUSH BRANCHES PRIOR TO USE ...... Thank you all soo much for your efforts and Help in this, Being blonde sure is hard sometimes I should have just rang the vet in the first place and not get myself worked up over it ...... okay thank you I have one more question for now I just fond a bird I sayed I can naver find it has brown wings and a light blue body do you know what color type you would call it? I'll post a pictures of it asap. I think I am going to breed it with the graywing later cuz it looks to be just a baby right now.thank you ones again Without a picture I am guessing Skyblue Cinnamon .... Sorry for your losses .......I agree with Ikon Best to find out whats happening with all the birds ... Hen should be fine Once the eggs hatch just keep a closer eye on them you may have to help her feed them She should cope however..... 4 shouls be okay for her to handle But like i siad keep a closer eye one her and once they do hatch feed her softer foods with will help her feed the chick better on her own .... Good luck hope it isn't anything too nasty

This cooplex is used for everywhere homes kitches, food places pasture seed sowing so hence me not thinking it would be harmful???...... I'll save all the dramas and call 3 Avian vets 2day to see what they all say .. BUT AS YOU ARE ( most of you are ) Breeders I'd thought I'd ask here ....... IF i strip the aviary bare it might throw the mum's off and that is anothe concern ..... Gezzzz Dramas Dramas drama ... NEATS NEAST NEEDS SUPER CLEANING .... Norm I just couldn''t use fly spray on them If anything happened I'd be devestated ....... Well I'll post the results later ....

I agree A breeder who goes to the trouble and added cost of having his own code on the rings would not throw any old one on. It could be the next Grand Champion ?? Who knows? You wouldn't risk it. I have a long list of breeders ID's I will go through them. Although I not at liberty to be publicizing peoples ID' on here. TB could you please PM me ... Trying to loacte the breeder which is kinda a night mare ..... Nar Kaz NEW Like a Dark Purple ..... I will take pics tomorrow and post and Phone around and try to end this saga ..... I do understand that they molt every year She has no Iris ring so this is how I came to the conclusion of being a young bird with a wrong ring I have googles POM and Nothing from clubs ..... YOU GO JIMMY HOLMES ..... ....I NEED TO FIND HER AGHHHHH
