I've used a pencil before and the heat from the Hen to the eggs wore it off so i had no idea of what was what ... I have also pushed a bit too hard and damaged one too, *wishes she knew of a 6B pencil then ... I now ( when I remember to ) use a kids texta ( all kids stationery is non toxic as you are right the eggs have little thingys on them that absorbs this is why it is important to wash hands before we touch the egg with a light soap or just warm water ( ESPECIALLY SMOKERS OUT THERE ..... I kinda learnt that the hard way too)

Sorry to hear of your problems with the boarding place, .... Look i have read your post and you say that he used to eat only pelletes, now eats only seed, use to know his name now he doesn't .. I understand that he is sick BUT are you certian that the birds haven't been mixed up??????? I know it may seem like a stupid thing to say and that it is your bird you would know what he looks like and etc, but these things happen ..... As for paying the Fees, tell them that you will not, that your bird had contacted and infection from the place that he was MEANT TO BE CARED FOR AND LOOKED AFTER . not left mixed with other birds and not treated properly ........ I hope he gets better real soon and this problem gets sorted out,

I handle the babies from birth, you need to not just for the bonding and taming purposes but for their health, checking that they are feed, no air pockets, that food hasn't gotten stuck in their beack removing of poop, etc - also when changing the nesting materials .... You have a fun journey ahead of you, Enjoy and all the nest ..... regards

Hahaha it's a widdle batman go go mobile ... Fuel is around the $1.50-$1.58 per litre at the moment I fill up on a Tuesday morning as it is Tight ar se day ... Petorl prices peak On Monday mornings Wednesdays and Fridays.... Try filling up early in the morning as the fuel hasn't expanded then and you get more to the litre then in the afternoons when it has had time to warm up ......... Oh an pump slow when you squezze the trigger it pumps more air in the tank .....
