  4. Hehehe I cracked up laughing when i read your subject sorry .... I assumed that you used Yahoo Question & Answers or other ........ site that is **** Welcome to the Best Place on the WEB BBC ... P.S Nice birds
  5. Agree with the waiting for at least 12 months.. There are so much complications that can happen from breeding with young pairs egg bound infertile eggs unfed chicks feeding problems etc etc .... Also best to try and pair a first time parent with a experienced parent too
  6. Forgive me BBC! I may have fallen of the wagon! I was tempted today by the budgie devil. The thought of buying a show type hen had crossed my mine on several occassions today!
  7. Kaz you are quick LOL. That was the first thing I thought off - Open or close roofing on the avairies = Personally from bad experiences I have closed mine up! Apart from that, if they are both kept the same Ie wormed, treated etc at the same time and what have you I really don't see the issue -
  8. Deb remember Murphy's Law .... What can go wrong will go wrong If you have gone to the trouble to make such a lovely avairy, I do highly recommend the tin be put on the sides at least knee height around the walls ...... If mice \ Rats ( as they jump) for some reason get into that one, you will kick your self for not doing it when you could of
  9. Couldn't have said it better myself Sw!!! Please be a smart bird owner and QUARRANTINE
  10. I had mice too when i was young, they breed heaps .. I remember 2 things though 1. The males stink so the cage has to be cleaned twice a day and 2. Dad cracking it in the middle of the night cause they loved their wheel
