well the breeder I asked says he made his, he bought the cage fronts and teh cage fronts have little pins at the tops and bottoms, in the cabinet you make. Drill small holes to match the fronts pins and slide teh front in. Making sure the pins at teh top are in and the bottom ones to. Than make a pull out tray at the bottom of each cage so you can clean it...does that help?
  3. They are absolutly beautiful! I love the male...I liek both I like SHOW BUDGIES . I think you should name the male: Cloe and the female :Zoe
  4. Thanks Guys, if I ever get a camera I will get some pictures :hap: I really want to show pictures of them but...no camera Thanks alot
  5. Ino I know where it comes from because a Lacewing is a Cinnamon Lutino or Albino, OMG thats great! I love this pair! Blue is from the Greys right? So If I took a cock bird that was split to Blue/Opaline/Ino than I could have Platino Lacewings (white)?
  6. I have had Anibelle for a few months she is now 9 months old, and today at a bird meeting I got a male for her. A Grey Green Opaline split to lacewing cock bird. What would I get from a: Grey Green Opaline split to Lacewing cock Cinnamon Grey Normal hen I know I would get greys and greens and opaline females (males split to cinnamon)....could someone tell me what I would get exactly?

I had my first pair, they were sucessful went right to nest...had 9 eggs and 5 hatched. Raised em and now the pair is resting. This time I have 3 new pairs up to nest. 2 of the pairs have found the nest box, they are in the same place and one hen and her cock are going out of condition while the pair on top of them is going into breeding condition. They are on the same light schedule, same food, same cages (not sharing a cage but same size/shape). What can I do to make them breed! I am getting frustrated...

  12. I switched my pairs around so I could get DF Dominant Pieds. I have a Light Green Dominant Pied and a Colbat Dominant pied. I don't know thier splits but I hope that the green is split to blue... Anyways they have been together for about a week now. The hen is definately a hen she has a chocolate brown cere and she bobs her head, the male is trying to feed her and she keeps on bobing her head. She put up her tail while bobing her head and the male tried to get on her than she ran across the perch and bobbed her head some more...does she just have issues? I know I might be a little impaitent here but I don't want to waste my time if she isn't going to breed with him...

Dilute Skyblue Spangle or...? I think I'm going to name her Angel, she sure looks like one. 16. I just called a breeder and he said the same thing if I lifted him by the crop he might have vomited, so my brother was holding him and I think he might have pushed on the crop...I am going to go check on him now. Thanks B :ausb: (Laughing out loud)
