  4. She sure did...she's with a mom and her son in her forever home now, which is wonderful (although I must admit, I'd of loved to have kept her). that is great that she found a forever home.

  6. Hi, welcome to the forums
  7. Hi, welcome to the forums. your babies are adorable
  8. l found this cage in our local paper, they are asking for $100. it is a great bargain. Cage the cage dimensions are 18" wide x 35" high x 60" long, 45.72cm x 88cm x 152cm. l do not know if it is already sold or not, l will soon find out. lf it is still available l might get it for my budgies and upgrade their cage. l don't know what the cage bar space is but if the seller emails me back, l'll ask about that.
  9. your photo before was okay since it was under 640x480. why you see some turned to links and a warning saying that they where turned to links because they where over 450x450. the reason why is just about a week ago the administers decided to change the size limit of the photos from 450x450 to 640x480. so the threads that contain those warnings where done before these changes where put into effect. The right photo size limit now is 640x480

  23. 2 Month Update Wow, l cannot believe it has been 2 months already, time sure fly's bye. Hobbes and Claire has made great progress. I took them in the bedroom together for the very first time today. Before l went to the bedroom , l got them out of their cage by getting them on my finger in their cage and l put them in their traveling cage with out them biting me. Once in the bedroom, l let them out of their traveling cage. At first they flew around the room. They started to play on some clothes and also on the ground. also l took a video of them on the floor, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNXEXOYQE7E I got them both on my fingers without any trouble and they stayed on for quite along time before they flew away. I was talking to them while l tried to take this picture, l noticed Hobbes and Claire where both closing their eyes when l was whispering to them, they looked so cute. If you look at Claire in this picture you can see her eyes are closed. hear is a nice close up l believe they where getting annoyed with the camera in this picture here is a short video of them on my hand, sorry for the quality of the video, it was hard to take it, using only my left hand and l couldn't see what l was shooting. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKUMkvOJqDA When it was time to put them back into their traveling cage, l had no trouble getting them back in by letting them come on my finger using the "up command." I'm very happy to tell you all that l received 0 bites from either budgie it is the very first time that this has ever happened to me. They have both come a very long way in such a short time. I can hardly believe that these two are the same budgie's 3 month's ago, who where still scared of my hands and would bite me whenever they would get the chance. I'm very proud of them. They are going to have some millet seeds tonight for being such good little budgies
  24. While l let my budgies out for some free flying time, Hobbes decided to play a game with Claire, l was lucky to have my camera on hand. "Hey, Claire want to hide and go seek?" "Hehehe, she will never find me here" " boy, it's sure taking her along time to find me" "Claire, weren't you looking for me?" Claire "no."
  25. it will be interesting to follow your journey of building your aviary. l can hardly wait to see your finished aviary
