what an ordeal for you and yumi to go thru , l'm so glad that yumi is doing so great and that you did such a good job in looking after him

l agree with the other's so far that it looks like a female to me .

l haven't had the heart to ask him why he is rehoming them because he is so heart broken about doing this . l might ask him when l pick them up but l don't know if l will because that is going to be such a very hard day for him l feel really honored that he choose me to take them . he even told me that he is glad that l will take them to join my other 6 budgies and he is amazed that l would be willing to do that , he said that it will be like " budgie heaven " to his girls .

(Laughing out loud) l like the name blue , l think it suits him well .

l was on another bird forum the other day that l ofton go on , there was someone who lives in my city that made a post about trying to rehome his two female budgies that are about 3-4 years old . he really loves them and didn't want to rehome them but unfortunately he had no choice but to do so , he also did not want to put an ad in the local paper because he didn't want some one to take them just for all his equipment and bird toys that he is given away with them . l replied to his post and after alot of questions through email ( which l didn't mind answering because l knew how much he loves his girls and l would do they same if l ever had to rehome my flock ) he accepted me to take them . so l will be picking them up sometime next week . here are the little girls who will be joining my flock soon ; Sky is the blue one on the left , Sweety is the white one on the right ( and l'm keeping their names too )

your pets are only as safe as you are responsable. Added care should be taken in both ends of safety. But if you are willing to take that extra step in safety and responsibility it can be very rewarding to have cats and birds, under the same roof. Yes ... l totally agree with that

l just realized that since l have joined this forum l have never really shown my budgies cage set up before so l will show you now :ausb: the cage they are in is ; - Width: 32" - 80 cm - Depth: 14.25" - 36 cm - Height: 19.25" - 49 cm l know it is a little small for 6 but they only go in it at night since l let them out all day for at least 12 hours or more each day unless l have to go away to do errands for a little while l would like to get some natural perches soon for them instead of those silly wooden perches :
