(Laughing out loud) , l have never seen a budgie do that before but l bet it is quite the site

l agree . when l first got my budgies last year . l didn't know much about budgie care , l had a cocktiel cage for them with a bar spacing of more then 1/2" . my sister and her roomates had this cage with 2 budgies in it but they both past away in 2004 . so l asked them if they are going to get any birds in the near future , if not l would love to have their cage . they didn't want to get any more birds ( they where never really into birds , they got the birds and cage for free thru our church bullitin ) .when l got my budgies they would sometimes squeeze right thru those bars , until l found this forum and one of the members pointed out that l needed to get another cage that had a smaller bar spacing . since l changed their cage , now they cannot escape thru the bars anymore

merlin is such a handsome fellow , l love the poof look . l understand how you feel , l feel the same way with dogs . l lost my little one 6 years ago , l have seen many puppies and dogs thru the years but none has pulled on my heart like my little muffin did , yet . l know you will know when the right one captures your heart .

how many budgies are you planning to put in the cage ? l agree with buzzbee that the other cages that you are looking at looks too small .
