  2. Here is a chick I have gifted to forum member Dave McMinn. She ( we think its a she ) is from my top hen Omelette from an accidental clutch whilst I was away. The chicks name is QUICHE. She is a grey green opaline spangle. I think she is going to be very nice. Have you booked your airfare to come collect her Dave..............Easter school holidays ?
  3. Junior is a cute little GIRL and she is an opaline grey spangle.
  4. You will not find it on the shelf, nor will a chemist shop assistant know what you are talking about. You ask to speak to the chemist themselves and they will make it up for you.
  5. Livs going to need a bigger transport box.

  15. Hi Deb I would say ALL FEMALES
  16. Your guy doesnt know what he is talking about. Budgies will breed any time of year and are most often prompted to breed by good food and the presence of nesting boxes. Do not listen to the advice of your "guy" PS if so called "breeding season" is over how come all my budgies are still breeding ?? You can choose not to listen, but soon enough you will be on here again talking about the disasters happening in your aviary due to underaged birds trying to breed, fights over nestboxes, bloodied birds from fights, broken and smashed eggs and further down the track killed or maimed chicks.
  17. Do NOT put any budgies in an aviary with nesting boxes if they are under 12 months of age....they will try and breed. Either remove the nesting boxes or house the underaged ones somewhere else.
  18. Do you have any pictures? They must be beautiful! (Rhetorical question- I'm sure you have loads of pics ) http://www.artiglass.com.au/
  19. A top recessive pied breeder over here gets size and improvement by putting his spangles through his recessive pieds......sure you will get the odd spangle recessive pied come through too but you will get bigger recessive pieds and splits. If you can find a spangle thats split recessive...you can see great improvement in the birds very quickly.
  20. I do leadlight and stained glass windows. I design them and make them from lots of pieces of coloured glass that I cut out, assemble and make with lead and solder. I have been doing that for around 26 years. Today I made two windows for a client and our Liv off this forum came with me to help me fit them, as she is here visiting.
  21. Maybe go back to that breeder and buy a couple of good splits
  22. The soft food stampede Just because he's cute :flowers: working out on the wine rack gym
