I'm actually thinking how to do this. If I use this mix and they die behind a wall (we have plaster board everywhere, so there is space between the wall and the plaster board), then they will smell in there !!! I guess I will have to use traps, so they don't die somewhere where I can't reach them

Sounds so cruel, but I will have to do something like that too, as we have mice (maybe even rats) in the new house, because the previous owners were very messy :ausb: :sad:

Good pictures. But it's strange for me, I've had two tiel's eggs like the second one - with half of the egg dark, they were like this when they were newly layed and nothing hatched. I thought they were rotten :sad:

Yes, we have a building which we want to rebuild. I have one photo, I have posted it here before. It doesn't look good, it used to be a pig stable or something, but we will repair it and clean it and it should be okay. I don't have the measurements yet, I will hopefully measure it this weekend. Thank you all I forgot all about the humidity, maybe if I use the electric heating, then I should also use humidifier. I got one from my grandad . I don't want to breed in winter. I've heard some people in czech don't heat budgie rooms in winter. But I don't want them to be cold. I've read that if the temperature doesn't go under about +5C degree, they should be fine We just need to figure out how to conect the heating to the budgie house. We don't even have heating in the house yet - lots to do till winter.

okay, thanks. I will see what we can do. We were thinking about installing "normal' house electric heating. I hope we can do that.
