Thanks a lot for the picture Norm, I'm just trying to explaing to one breeder what does the YF blue spangle actually looks like . I found the czech name for it on a budgie show website, but not many breeders here actually know what mutations they have. Lots of them call them blue, green, yellow,... So it might take me a long time to find this budgie

I would be happy with any color similar to a rainbow - I just like them. I don't think I would even know if I had a true rainbow :bluebudgie: I'm looking for a YF2 blue spangle hen, but no luck so far . I've seen a nice YF violet male yesterday - but that's not what I'm looking for, is it :(Laughing out loud): I found some breeders in my area, so I will see if I can find a nice girl for my Rainbow boy. My only problem is that I have no idea how they call this color in czech , so I have to guess I will let you know guys if I get lucky and find a nice girl for him

My doctor told me to eat a banana in the morning, but I found out I feel sick from anything "slimy", so bananas actually made it worse , so maybe apple would do the same to me. So far I'm okay with buttered toast (most of the time it's okay ) and I found out I mustn't drink anything till I get to work as the car ride and drink don't go together I hope I get nice UV picture next week so I can post it

Wow, that's good your son brought them home. I can't believe the woman asked for money :hap: . I think what you've told her was perfect !!! I have one hen from a woman who didn't want her anymore. My friend told her, I have budgies and she asked me if I'd take her. They've had the budgie for like 2 years and now they just decide they don't want her anymore . She lived in a small cage, in the kitchen on the fridge !!! So I was happy to take her.

I'm fine. Thanks for asking :angel1: I'm back at work, but I still feel sick sometimes in the mornings. I hope it stops now as I'm starting 4.month (13 weeks now). I can't wait for my belly to start growing so I can see I'm pregnant. Now it's just waiting for UV pics all the time to see the baby . I'm going for my next check up in two weeks. I will maybe send a picture if it's clear enough

Could I just ask what's the difference - type 2 and type 1? I was looking for it, but cannot find it. If you have a photo of YF2 sky blue spangle, would you please post it ? Thanks a lot

okay, thank you guys I didn't think he is skyblue, his blue looks darker. But maybe he is. I will try to get better picture Any ideas on what hen (mutation) would be interesting to pair him with? How would you describe a rainbow budgie? Thanks

I named him Rainbow because he reminds me of a rainbow. But at the time I didn't know there are actually rainbow budgies. I don't think he is one, but what mutation is he? I'm not sure if I asked about him before, sorry if I did, but I can't find the post. So could you tell me, please? I don't have a better photo of him then this, maybe later. But he has green and also blue on him. I would like to breed him sometime later, what mutation would you breed him with to get nice babies? Thanks a lot
