I know Phoebe. They grow up so quickly. She is a brilliant flyer. And I'm handling her daily to try and keep her tame. She is such a wonderful little bird.

Precious moved into her new home yesterday. She seems to like it. And she got a new roomy too- Kito. They seem to be getting along well and she seems to be enjoying her new abode - no crys for mom or dad. I splurged and got her the new Vision L2 cage. . I still need to add more toys and a few additional perches.

Well hello there says baby 2 - he's such a pretty blue! I'm such a pretty little girl - I think I'll be a bit darker than my mommy. Baby 1 We're just so cute. You should see us waddle around. Babies 3 & 4 I may be the youngest but I'm super cute too you know! We just love hanging out together! Mom didn't even have to tell us to line up like this! Aren't we adorable!

What kind of snake is that? Ugh! We only get little garter snakes here in Nova Scotia. I hate snakes.

Thanks for this info Karen. I have been giving them vitamin enriched premium seed, veggies daily, crushed boiled eggs, and ancient grain bread but no vitamin drops. They also have millet a few times a week and lots of cuttle bones and mineral blocks. I'll pick some vitamin supplement up tomorrow. Not sure if we can get calvicet though. I don't know if the nest is any muckier as this is my first multi chick clutch. Precious' nest was quite clean but it was only her.

This is baby 1 today. It is 19 days old. This was Precious at 19 days.

I posgted some pics of Star and Wylie's babies yesterday and Nerwen mentioned that babies might be being plucked. I had thought it stranged that the bubs weren't covered in fluff yet, but figured it wasn't the right time. I went back and looked at Precious at the same age (and younger) and she is covered was covered in fluff. I'm wondering if it is plucking or if they have feather problems (ie- french moult). If it is plucking what would you recommend. Should I take the bubs away from their mom? Both mom and dad go in the cage but she spends the most time in there. Could the babies be plucking each other. Could it be from them constantly crawling all over each other. I'll do some research but would love to hear from members about how they have dealt with this if it has been an issue? Great pics. Hurley looks like a YFmauve. I have one just like him - they start out more mauve but moult to that olive colour.
