I have been away for a while due to my laptop destroying itself!! Jimmie is doing just fine, she has mastered some words, which include hello, wot u doin, hello jimmie, ohh jimmie, and unfortunatly shes seems to say *****!! and of course the wolf whistle. she also perfectly mimicks the telephone, she can do the ring and what is so cool is when she does the sound of when you press the keys on a phone keypad. Shes hormonal at the moment, her cere is quite brown. I will hopefully get a new laptop soon and be a regular again

i like the way they have rounded the dogs into the corner!!

yes but she has been naughty today...... she found a little piece of a join in the wallpaper where her cage is and decided to strip it, i want to redecorate soon but didnt think jimmie would help!!

yeah i feel lucky again. its a massive ego boost when she wolf whistles!!!! (Laughing out loud) this new job i have means i get to spend more time with her. hopefully she will say some words soon as she is garbling a lot.

shes a nutter, she has a favorite toy and when she plays with it she lets out a scream, not sqwark, a nice little scream, at first i thought she had hurt herself but she does it all the time she plays with it. shes also started to imitate my laugh, and the telephone ring and button noise, so much that if im out of the room and i hear the telephone button noise i think who is dailing out now!!

ha ha i thought as much, she oesnt do it that much , maybe a handfull of times when im near catrin.

thanks phoebe, one thing that jimmie does that jim NEVER did is that she wants to go to my wife, quite a few times shes flown towards my wifes head, problem is my wife isnt as bird friendly as me, she loves jimmie but hates the flapping...i laugh when this happens.....fun times

first jim was easy to tame, he was a real star, now i hav jimmie a little lady nad aright little lady she is, she is tame and loves to folow me around now, but she loves to bite and nibble on my ears etc.

I have a small plastic peg clipped to the outside of her cage, the front edge of the peg inside, she has started to bond with it i think?? she rubs her head on it and talks to it,mves it back and forth and spends loads of time sitting next to it? is this her bonding.? should i take it away

sorry i have been away from the internet with new job. she is a great budgie

heres an updated jimmie picture, she is tamed now and likes to sit on my shoulder and play with my ears!ouch! she has started to chatter and i dont think it will be long before i get some words ot of her.

shes started some strange behavior , she stands on her perch, crouches down and flaps like crazy!! like she is trying to lift the cage in take off!! is it just a way of her letting some steam off.

she really is mad, tame now too, lets anyone stroke her and sits on my hand fine, shes been out for a few flights but shes not good at this yet, banged into the mirror a few times and once into my head...ouch... while in the cage she has really funny sections, she loves nothing better than turning herself inside out,no matter where she is on the cage,check out this picture she also loves to knock her seed bowl off the cage bars,its a hanging type and she lifts it off until it falls!!! we are having fun and games.

any thoughts about getting another little un to train up ??

ohh so sad, ive been ofline and missed this, im so sorry for your bad news, and i know how you feel...still missing jim. maybe Jim and Pretty have met up in birdie heaven. Hope you feel better soon......Adrian

yeah very lucky again, i came home tonight and she had a pink head!! shes rubbed then iodine block up! she does some crazy moves too,ill try and describe, she sort of hangs on the bars and tries to turn herself inside out,sometimes the leg looks like its strangling her.!!crazy

making great progress with jimmie, i think she will be really tame, she sits on my finger no probs, she even lets me give her tickels and scratch her head, a few times after eating she has husks on her face and she even lets me pick them off!! i feel blessed again
