My Strange Budgie!
I say opaline here is why Dominant pied maybe I so see the splotches indicating pied, does he have a pied spot on the back of his head too? Texas Clearbdoy has a clear body completely and normal wing marking. Opaline you can see the definite V shape on the back of the neck and the body color running through the wings. Gorgeous boy

Help Need To Know How Hen Will Look Like Berfore It Lays An Egg
you may want to mark them to so you know the order they arrive so you will know the order in which they will hatch too. Here is information about touching eggs http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/faqs/i...d=57&artlang=en You can mark them with a pencil lightly or a non-toxic marker and for that you may not even have to touch them. Good luck

Well Its Been About A Year
A great way to search out information too about breeding or other topics is to click on the FAQ link at the topic of your screen. http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/faqs/ another window will pop up and on the side you will find different titles to where you will find other questions about that topic . Example Budgerigar Breeding will lead you to http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/faqs/i...tion=show&cat=7. Of course if you can't find an answer we have our awesome members. 2 great ways to find information OH and another one is to so a search within the breeding section too for your specific question. It is amazing what you can find at your finger tips at BBC. Good luck with your breeding program, we look forward to following the journey with you.

Red Budgie?
red pigment is not found in budgies if anything it looks brown aka cinnamon and it still doesn't look healthy. I don't know this person but they may be just pulling people's legs to alter the pics.

Breeding Cage And Setup
for a quick answer you can do a search in aviary set ups on our forums and you will see a lot of different kinds of set ups. You can do a search under daz a member that has posted some wonderful pics and do that within the aviary section . I know more will come on too to post their set-ups.

Budgies And Cockatiels
I have seen a lot of budgies and tiels get along but before you bring them home you said they were not tamed. Where you planning on working on taming them? If not that is okay, I was curious in the fact that all the tiels I have seen with budgies are also tamed too.

To Clip Or Not To Clip
Good post to resurface both my boys where clipped when I got them and then I let them get flighted which was awesome. It does give them more independence and I do believe you really need to work with them more to keep them behaving. Pretty got very naughty at one point . When Pretty passed away I had Merlin checked out to make sure he wasn't sick and at the same time debated to clip his wings since we were there. I did do it because I didn't want to have to chase him. I believe all circumstances are different, situations are different, example my budgie is a pet. There are also pet budgies that are not clipped and then you have aviary style instances and if I had an aviary my birds would not be clipped but others may chose to do so.

Will They Stop Mating When You Move Them
To add if you go to the FAQ there are some great questions there too http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/faqs/i...tion=show&cat=7 AND I believe many people will mark the eggs if you are not afraid to pick them up and mark them with I have seen pencil or a non-toxic marker so you know the order they will hatch.

Some Of The Children
So Mammoth is being kicked out? Maybe it is because of his size, if it is him.
-
Some Of The Children
Well then maybe he is just going to be adventurous since the nesting box is big and I didn't think mom and dad was shoving him out a better explanation of what I meant :budgiedance: would have been pushed out because there wasn't enough room. He is a doll.
