Remember playing the card game, “Go Fish,” when you were a kid? We will start this game by asking a simple question that requires a definite yes if they like it or GO FISH if they don't. For example, I will ask a question, “Do you like fish?” The next person to post will answer yes if they like fish or GO FISH if they don't. Then they will leave their own quesiton for the next person to answer a yes or no. So let see how many questions and answers we can get in this game and have some fun with it.
  5. I agree the longer feathers of the eyes gives them the grumpy look, Merlin has it too vs the bright and perky look like the pet type.
  6. persnally, I agree for now keep them seperate and let them have play time maybe in your next clutch you can find her a little female to have a playmate.
  7. I agree with Kaz, if you breed her out you will know for sure if Kaz is right or SW. I thought a black eyed self doesn't have an iris ring hence black eye?
  8. hope all goes well
  9. I agree with Kaz he is a mauve and there are many different shades of mauve, I would wait and see how he continues to molt out personally. He looks like a Mauve Fullbody Greywing.
  10. that is a good way to introduce them and then slowy you can put the cages next to each other, this may be why she is acting this way too she hears them and wants to get to them.
  11. That has happened to Merlin too I think male too. I love this pair, very interested to see the outcomes

  16. This is Maxx (Molli's sister) he is around 14lbs they are both 4y, we got them on a street corner for free. He is a sweet heart, complete Tom Cat personality. This is Molli, she is around 8lbs, very shy but loves her people especially my daughter she will follow her around in the evening before bed and wake her up in the morning by licking her and rubbing on her. Here they are together you can see the size difference. This is Microsoft Corporation ®. Mahria the boss of them all she will be 18y this year, we found her when we went to visit my girlfriend up at college that many years ago. She is a you know what hehe.

It will work because if they are still a member of the forum they will get an e notification it only works if they are not members anymore and you will know if you can't find their name in the list . I PM people all the time if I haven't heard from them in a while or their b-day is up and I send a quick Happy Birthday.

Welcome and thank you for introducing your flock, we have a Mutation & Variety Section where you will want to also post the pics of your birds and members can help you out with colors and such. . Your birds are lovely, I would suggest closer and clearer pics if possible along with pics of the back of them for correct identification.
  22. I believe it is cat saliva that is more dangerous but any salva even humans is contaminated with a lot of bacteria that is dangerous for our feathered friends, that is why they say don't let them eat from your mouth. Very cute....just a word of caution and you probably already do it always supervise no matter how tame the dog anything can happen in a blink of an eye.
