youngest as you can see is definitely yellow, maybe a tinge of white in places. He has more colour now but I will put photos on later!

It took me a long time to get my first pair, 2-3 years. =(. however I finally got my first chicks last month, I hope that your budgies will produce soon.

I'm sorry to hear. I agree robin sometimes I feel like giving them a word or two. That's why I like to buy direct for a breeder then you can see their setup and other budgies conditions too.

well, I have already got rid of the eggs(sorry), however I was going to breed 2 in a row, I thought that was risky enough. But I promised someone 2 babies, but i want to keep first 2, so I will try one more round and see how it goes. I am a bit confused with the second paragraph, could you please explain it differently?

yeah i looked on there but they where all in NSW or WA,and the ones that where in QLD, where lets say not a bargain.

yes four out of the two looked fertile, and only two hatched. I think that they died in the shell =( its been too long though, its been over 23 days for the youngest egg. ( so should i remove them to allow them to lay more and should i number the next lot of eggs?)

No, mine havent been breeding since last year and that was different owners, and besides the fact i live in QLD

Thanks, well we just noticed that they were just mating again, is that okay while still having babies in the nest, its thesame pair, so i am a bit confused. And alos how many times do they breed in a year? I woulld appreciate any help,thanks. Another question when should i take theeggs that didnt hatch out?

Yes they are in shade outside. They are enjoying it though, Babies are asleep as there is just the peaceful sound of the river the wind slowy going tthrough the trees and the occassional bird thats not sleeping.

I was hoping that when I moved the pair and chicks to another cage that i wasnt going to upset them, an i am happy because it hasnt, i am going camping and need to bring them with me so they are all good and the chicks look cuter everyday

I agree with Nadene, they could just be out of breeding condition, you could just be expecting it too soon. they need time mine took 2 years to start breeding and well, you just have to bepatient. However they might just no tpair up iftheyy dont like eachother just be patien tho.

Your chicks are so pretty I myself are a first time breeder in this season but only one of my three pairs laid and hatched 2 out of 6. I love looking at photos of someone else's chicks at the same age as mine 11 days today and 7 days for youngest.
