  1. A lot of stuff has lots of calcium.
  2. I don't think it is boredom. He's so hyper that he's either preening or playing all the time, he ALWAYS does this after he's eaten some seed or some veggies, do you think that at first it was boredom or something and now it's just routine??
  3. Nope, he still views veggies as evil poison food. Today he did a very runny poop, he keeps changing though, sometimes they're 100% normal and other times they're quite runny. I guess he could be actually eating the pellets that are in his seed dish....i don't think he was on those at the pet store...
  4. YAY! Karen's back! *runs in circles*
  5. Wow! That's so cute! Blinkie does that with the playstation cords sometimes.
  6. I have changed it. In fact, i completely removed the iodine bell as i noticed the metal bit was going rusty. After i got rid of that he started using his calcium bell and now he uses his mineral/cuttlebone.
  7. I'm sorry to hear this Una. (((hugs)))
  8. No, he's not becoming more obsessed with it. I usually notice him doing it once or twice a day. He's such a silly boy!
  9. I was just thinking about this particular habit of Blinkie's and decided to find the original post rather than start a new one. He still does it, usually after eating, he gives himself a mineral/cuttlebone pedicure. I think he's trying to keep his feet in good condition....they certainly are smooth and lovely. :P
  10. Maybe, except Ozzie doesn't play....he's way to calm and gentleman-ly for such childish behaviour.

The pet shops around here always have either single ones that are easy to stack or stacks of 2 - 3, they're reasonably priced too. Have you looked in the local pet shops?

That's a gorgeous photo! Hobbes is male and i'm fairly sure that Claire is female. You can probably cut down the baths to a couple of times a week. Welcome to the forums!
  13. They're so cute! I can see the yellow on Squeaker's wings too.
  14. Today when i had Ozzie out he did a poop but it got stuck to his butt feathers. :hap: It looked like a pretty normal poop so why did it stick??? I'll keep watching him and if this keeps happening obviously he'll go to the vets.
  15. Is it really?! Wow, that's good cause Blinkie loves his brocolli. :hap:
  16. They looks gorgeous together!
  17. That's a GREAT picture!
  18. Aww...they've grown so much! Can't wait to see their colours!
  19. I would've thought it would be very difficult to microchip a budgie....is it an ultra teeny tiny chip? Do they need to be under some sleepy drug for the chip to be put under the skin?
  20. :rip: That's GREAT!

Awww, what a sweetie! She looks very determined to get rid of it! :fear Tell her from me that yellow looks GREAT on her and she'll attract all the hot male birdies if she keeps it on. :rip:

  25. Did she fall over? Sometimes when Blinkie tries to do that he loses his balance and falls off my finger! :(Laughing out loud):
