No thats not scale face. This is one of my birds that had scaly face see how around the cere there is a white sorta crust. it starts from the cere but doesn't cover the cere only in bad cases I think.

Does French moult include bleeding? how long does French moult last for?

how many birds have you breed you must have a lot if you have never sold any lol.

I have them separated I will see how this goes.

Or you could be like wonder what them 2 birds would produce if they pair up lol.

I found one of the young birds sleeping in a little food dish in the morning.

nice looking normals I have 4 normals I am going to breed together.

I did have my 3 young budgies in a nursery cage outside. Now I have had to separate them as both females have no wing or tail feathers left. One has bleeding wing feathers, I have stopped the bleeding with corn flour. Is this going to stop when I put them back in the cage after 2 weeks time? I wanna sell them when I know they are in good health.

she stopped laying and ate them eggs. Seen signs of mating and her showing interest in nestboxing. so fingers crossed.

nothing wrong with their legs all budgies have different colored legs sometimes.

quite surprised checking on apples found 2 eggs at the bottom of the cage. so I have put her nestbox back in and taken out all the fleged babies and put them in with tillys So there is 2 eggs so far not sure when they was laid.I have only been changing their water because I have been flat out doing other stuff. now I will know to keep a close eye on her.

I think I have it worked out. The others were picking on him. I asked a lady who owns lots of budgies and she said he looks like his had a fight. So I have removed him and his inside, glad he can eat seed himself.

Is that going to be a working bee? haha I turned up to my club after a show for the first time and they were having a working bee. Didn't bother me I was happy to help.

I dunno if its just nerves but he seems to step onto my finger quite well. to bad his gotta go into the aviary in another 30 days. yeah there was a hen like him too, but she was smaller. I am still waiting on someone to confirm my mutation guess. cobalt YF(2) Spangle? Opaline too?

yeah going to shows are great to see budgies. I went to a bird sale today hoping to get some show budgies for breeding. Looks like I will have to do a bit of searching.

YF Spangle Opaline? He has light yellow colouring over face and some in wing. Am I right with what I have.
