I would definately use a calcium product as the hen uses up a lot of calcium during egg production. Lack of calcium can lead to a lot of problems. Seed booster and breeding aid are both vitamins so you will be doubling up. I would be using just one vitamin product with the calcivet.
  2. Can be purchased through Australian birdkeeper for $114 plus postage.
  3. That is 2nd edition.
  4. Twisted there was a guy in Gatten that made them and sends them around Australia. I don't know if he is still doing it but will find out for you. he is the only one that does them for me to my designes. Daz Thanks Daz. will wait for your reply.
  5. Hi Daz, nice to see you back. I saw some cage fronts you were using in another post. They opened up where the nest box goes and turns into a step. Could you tell me where to get these from please and an idea on price.

Welcome to the forum Tazman, Love the video clip.
  13. Found this in a store for under $200. Thought it would make a good stock cage for young birds or show team prep. Anyone familiar with this cage. My link
  14. Most probably a split recessive pied.
  15. Maybe the Equimax is upsetting your bird. As Splat mentioned in another post. Equimax is for horses not budgies.
  16. Hi Lozza, Baycox is given in the water for the treatment of coccidiosis. I think what they were trying to tell you was to use Ivermectin for the back of the neck for the treatment of external and internal parasites. I think most budgie breeders use or have used Ivermectin at some stage. Hope this helps. Cheers, Twist.
  17. Hey Mr Devil, you got some handy dominant pieds you can send my way
  18. Nice looking birds for sure and not expensive for this quality. Brasea auction looks like a good one. Would like to try and get up there.
  19. Nice bird and a good price. Well done. good pick up.
  20. Would be good if one day we could see the Auctions via a live feed and bid also. Will happen one day I would imagine.
  21. Thanks for the rundown Bubbles, great report. I saw the pictures and even though they looked good it was still hard to judge. So it's good to get a run down on the birds by someone who was there.
  22. How did the Auction birds look ? Would you say value for money or did people spend too much. Did you snag a few yourself or not enough home made ones on day 2 ?
  23. Nice post with pics, thanks for sharing Splat, will try to get some of those things from my produce store as I need something easy to whip up. Not much time with work and kids. But I do feel that I need to give my birds more than seed and the odd treat.
  24. Boy and yep yellow on my screen also.
