sadly today the dad flew out its cage onto the wild, he flew by 3 times and i has hopping he would get down so i could have cached him and re-united him with his lovely family, hopefully does try to come back even thou the chances are 1 to none

In a few weeks once they are fully feathered i will provide new pictures so that their mutations can be determined

Cool. Does this mean we will be getting to see some chick pictures? Yes first thing tomorrow morning when i get a chance I'm take some pictures of my chicks there were 5 chicks originally 1 of them passed away 3 days after birth, so i have 4 beautiful chicks

That's really horrible, i had two show budgies my 1st ever show budgie pair with mild scaly-face and right away i got online did alot of research on how to treat it, and Kaz helped me out alot by telling me to use SCATT right away i went to my local petshop where i found the product and started treating it, now my two budgies are doing great , its just common sense if pet shop owner or pet owner sees a bird that doesn't look how its supposed to, to start treating it right away and try to find out why its sick

I was looking at the egg shells left after they hatched and yes one of them was bigger than the rest

my other budgies have layed eggs before and this is a new pair that i have set up to breed and there eggs are smaller than the other ones, today when i checked on the nest some eggs have hatched, i will post some pictures as soon as i can

okay my budgies layed 5 eggs 1 of them is normal size and the other 4 are peanut size is there any possibility that they'll hatch?? has any one else experienced this before?

Thank you KAZ for the extra info, today i used an extra blanket to cover my bird cages and were im keeping them now, the temp is just about constant all the time, i have a thermometer in the room, and the temp drops about 2 degrees comapred to all the other rooms in the house

ah okay, its because i tought they wouldnt be able to stand those cold temps, i live in the US on the state of California

okay so i have 2 show budgies and 7 regular budgies every nite i cover there cages with a cloth so they wont be cold, temps have never been as low as 34F-40F here were i live, but from today(sat) till prob wed. the temperatures at nite are going to drop to those degrees should i be concerned about my budgies?? what can i do? im really concerned about my birds well being thank you

luckily i didn't wipe any feathers off, i was relieved today when i saw my bird because it was looking way better feather wise

okay today i finally got my hands on some SCATT to treat my birds with scaly face, its my first time using it, when i was applying it on one of my show birds i accidentally put one too many drops with dropler by squeezing too hard, i tried whipping some of the excess SCATT off and right now i saw my bird and i can see his skin, will he be okay ?? what can i do im worried
