Hi Everyone, I've had Humpty for 6 weeks he's been in quarrentine for 4 of those weeks,for as long as i've had him he has always been a a big eater, but didn't think much of it as he seemed to be a buff bird.However in the last week he has been sleeping more and is fluffed up, today i've noticed he is a bit wet around his beak feathers. And his keel bone is very prominent i have in a cage with a lamp next to it and have given him water with ACV. Does it sound like Mega? thanks Libby.
  10. Hi Clearwing, I was at the auction also i wish i had know you were there as i would have liked to meet you ,never mind maybe next time . I was outbid on every bird that i liked but i went to the auction with no intention of bidding i was just going to observe and record prices hence my lack of funds in the purse on the day However i was lucky enough to introduce myself to Stephen Elliott and have now made contact with him to hopefully purchase some nice birds.   11. Hi Patrick, I'm always looking to increase my flock and am certainly planning on going on Saturday,but i think i'll be sitting on my hands this time. I'm even dragging my hubby along his time so he can see what i hope to achieve someday. Hope to see you there Libby.

  14. Thanks Rachel. The male has just gone through a moult so is looking very nice, the hen had a very bad case of scaly face when i first bought her but am pleased to see she scrub up okay after treatment.

  24. Hi GB, what about getting one of those Whirly Bird thingys on the roof of your avairy apparently it takes heat away in summer and helps with condensation.
  25. Kaz the proof is in the pudding look at how beautiful and healthy looking Maggies babies are, you are absolutly providing the best and most nutrious food to Maggie, the puppies are thriving. You and Maggie are doing a wonderful job.
