  1. Looks good to me, Enjoy the build and the birds.
  2. Not a box in a box type , Just that my box slides inside the cabinet so has timber around the box , see the picture. Cleaner as in the seed will only come out the front, Yes. I think this keeps the dust levels down between cabinets. I also built a v type shoot that takes my cabinet tray so the paper, seed and S**T slides down into a garbage bin.
  3. BUMP! , Rrrrrrrrr the good old days.
  4. Breeding Birds is Messy whether you have Wire or Wooden in my opinion.
  5. Yep any recessive variety is Tough. Squeak the birds are with Brasea Auction and they do the shipping at the buyers expense. ( Less work for me) Dave I recently took out Best Fallow at the Hunter show Annual 2011, With a 2011 Fallow Blue Hen .
  6. I use timber with internal boxes, I like the look of it . But number one reason is that the internal box builds up humidity and temperature and maintains more even temperature especially during winter months. I notice when i slide the box out and put my hand on the bottom and side it feels warm to touch.
  7. Hi , I have recently culled my birds out after ringing 135 birds so far, my best ever breeding year. So Due to increasing work and lack of spare time, Im selling out my Fallows at the coming Brasea Auction I will post Pictures soon .

  19. Well Clearwing you do know how to get the forum working!! All my birds still fly in avairys My avairy faces south They get seed, water, vegies, grit, Oats to breeders. If you make the cages smaller , you will make the birds not fly .

  24. Hi Corrie , Birds look like their breeding well , You should have a few to show at the Young bird shows at the end of the year.
  25. My Opinion. Not bad birds. Im not sure if you are a show breeder, If you are than the two birds are too much alike , If you look closley to the face of the cock and hen both have the same shape. You will breed birds that will look like their parents ,
