  1. i had a sudden thought or brainwave i was wondering what else can i put on the floor of my avairy. In renees topic on her new one, i saw how she put sand at the bottom. if i were to do sand, how do i maintain it? is there any thing else that is better thaan normal concrete? alot of bacteria seems to grow on it
  2. BROKEN BOTTOM BONE!!!9opps capslock!
  3. i would really like to help you but it would be nice to know what some of the blues are (sky, cobalt or mauve etc)
  4. if youre like me and are sometimes tired and cant be bothered working out the genetics, here is a very useful genetic calculator. http://www.vin.com/WebLink.plx?URL=http://www.gencalc.com/ you need to click on Budgerigars on the right coloum the 1.0 is the cocks side and 0.1 is hens side. there is no green budgie button so if you leave it and not tell the calc the colour it will autmatcically be green. another point is the dark factor selection there. it says SF and DF. for greens, if you dont click either it represents light green. if you choose SF it means youre saying dark green and if you choose DF you are saying olive budgie. same with blues; skyblue(no button) cobalt(SF) mauve(DF)
  5. baby cocks: 25.0% 1.0 D green /cinnamon 25.0% 1.0 D green spangle(sf) /cinnamon 25.0% 1.0 D green (Aus)pied(sf) /cinnamon 25.0% 1.0 D green (Aus)pied(sf) spangle(sf) /cinnamon and baby hens: 25.0% 0.1 D green 25.0% 0.1 D green spangle(sf) 25.0% 0.1 D green (Aus)pied(sf) 25.0% 0.1 D green (Aus)pied(sf) spangle(sf) 1.0 is a boy and 0.1 are girls. the d stands for dark. i think there is meant to be 50% of the babies light green and 505 of the babies dark green
