  1. That is very sad. But thank you for showing us because it was very informative.

Has anyone given coleus to their birds to play with/wreck? I see it's on some lists of safe plants. The gaudiness of the leaves makes me hestitant.
  4. I have been wanting to know for ages what that plant is. It is so pretty, I have been wanting to get one, whether or not it is good for budgies. Hope someone does know.
  5. Yes, he is smart.
  6. Good on you! Some people defy belief.
  7. They are sooo pretty!
  8. I just love your Twitter. He looks great in your signature!
  9. So you got two birds back. What lovely stories. You would have been so happy about that. Maybe some of your others will return. I do hope so.

She is just lovely and she must be a great comfort to you.
  11. Well done. Congratulations. It is a lovely shot.
  12. Oh, Carmen I am dreadfully sorry. He is better off rather than being so ill. BUT he was so special to you. I really do grieve with you. Take care. Be good to yourself.
  13. Thank you. I could not get the first one either. I have not had a problem. However, the thickness of the cage bars would affect how closely the two parts screw together. I can see that a little toe could get caught between them. I hope he recovers quickly.
  14. Did you post a picture? Can't see it.
  15. I do hope Chomp makes it. He sounds like a real little trouper. It is very upsetting to think that he was left alone when he was so sick. That is a warning to us all to ask questions and not just assume.
  16. Good on you for being alert and acting promptly. You have given Chomp his best chance. It is not everyone who will spend and do whatever it takes.
  17. Check out this article about a tiel breeder who regularly gets double yolkers. When the two chicks survive, they are not identical. http://www.talkcockatiels.com/showthread.p...86881#post86881
  18. Thank you for the tip. You wouldn't anticipate that.
  19. Yes, you have a seriously useful analogy there. For how long do pregnant women have cravings?

Those are marvellous pictures and so funny. Mine do that sometimes on a much smaller scale. They just seem to decide that there is no tomorrow or something. There doesn't appear to be any squabbling, though. Amazing!
  21. Is that a special light you have in there to compensate for lack of sunlight? If so, what is it, please?
  22. Feed them whenever the crop is near empty. Don't go by the clock. Feed them each time until the feeding response stops. I'll post again shortly with a link to an article which will help you. http://www.totallytiels.com/forum/viewtopi...?f=19&t=295 okay, this is the link which should help you.
  23. Congratulations. It's a beautiful picture.
  24. Wouldn't it be fun to get 2 chicks from an egg? Not too much fun for Mum, though.
  25. Those are wondeful pictures! He is so relaxed with you and obviously having loads of fun.
