I do not like the bright colours and so don't use them. Why stain them those colours? What good does it do? It does discolour the feathers.

The part which you screw on to keep the food on the stick is very small. Despite taking care, the screw of every one I have had has gone down the plug hole.

How old is your budgie? Did you get him from a pet shop? Can you get this information from the breeder. Your budgie may not be weaned! How long have you had him? Try hand feeding him at once. He cannot go over a day without food.
