Coloured Calcium/pedi Perches.
I do not like the bright colours and so don't use them. Why stain them those colours? What good does it do? It does discolour the feathers.

The Birds Few Days Ago
Those are wonderful birds, GB. I really enjoy looking at your pictures. I remember the beautiful ones, too, of you sitting with your birds and how relaxed you all looked. The pop out aviary is great. I am sure they all enjoy being out in that.

New Budgie - Confirm Sex And Mutation, Please
I bought this budgie today. I think he is a cock and a recessive pied. Am I right? Can you tell me anything more about his mutation? Does he have scaley beak mite? Many thanks. No Apostrophe In A Plural
That is great news about your iPhone. I wonder why it cannot get its own upper and lower cases sorted out. [Yes, there is no apostrophe in its. The apostrophe would be required if I'd written, It's a great iphone.]

Fussy Budgies
Kristy, I would give the lettuce a miss. It has little nutritional value and gives them the runs. There are lots of different brands of fruit sticks for birds. You can thread fruit or vegetables onto them. There is a picture of one on this page Fruit stick Actually, I do not recommend this kind. The part which you screw on to keep the food on the stick is very small. Despite taking care, the screw of every one I have had has gone down the plug hole.

Fussy Budgies
You could offer them some broccoli on a fruit stick. It is fun for them to play with. You could gradually add other things to the fruit stick as they get used to it.

No Apostrophe In A Plural
Definitely not! You are right there. Your particular issue was discussed. The pedant would go for James'. However, we say James's, so why not write it like that? I just had a chuckle at the thought that the singular and plural of James is James. I am so glad you are unique and we don't have to worry about it, James.

- No Apostrophe In A Plural
Hey guys, there is still no apostrophe in a plural! Plurals are easy: just add an s, (usually) e.g. one bird, two birds (not two bird's). It seems that even fewer of us know that now - including teachers, sadly.- How Soon After A Chick Hatches Should It Be Fed
