  1. That is great news.
  2. A very, very lovely bird, Neville and a very good piece of photography. The picture is the perfect background for such a beauty.
  3. Yes!!! Your turn.
  4. No. (It does not live in Australia.) Further clue: My fur has two colours.
  5. Thank you for that tip. I had never thought of using canary mix.
  6. That is wonderful news!
  7. Your photos are magical. I could not resist having a little play with one. I reduced the brightness a little and sharpened it. If you like it like that, GB, it's yours. Here it is bigger.
  8. Oh dear. It would be awful to lose one when they are so attached to each other. You are caring for them so wonderfully. It is so interesting to learn that dirty feathers affect their whole wellbeing. Seeing as they don't fly, I'd not expect them to be so bothered. They must have learned to enjoy their baths and the fuffy towels and to look forward to them.
  9. No. Summary: I am a mammal; I leap a lot; I have a thin tail longer than my body. I do not live in Australia. I do not live in South America. I was wrong when I said it lives fairly close to South America. That was a big boo boo. Further clue: I could be classified as a cute animal.
  10. Good on you, splat!

  15. I reckon Geroge is a great name! I bet no one else has it. The offspring could be Geroge House Hunk, Geroge Lollibridgia, Geroge Lollibudgera, Geroge Gina Junior etc. She is a beautiful little bird ... it is very naughty of you all to make jokes.
  16. None of those.
  17. No. It has 4 legs.
  18. Awww! Baby feeding baby is soooo cute.
  19. What a little darling!
  20. GENIUS!! I love it.
  21. I'm not really sure which part was unclear. I posted the link because I found it amusing that such an old method was being used. However, the site owner is very confident that it works. I wondered why it was necessary to use it when the gender of most chicks can so readily be identified visually.
