    Looks great Daz :budgiedance:
  3. :budgiedance: good question Lin. Good luck daz Push heaps to get the info, sometimes if the person does see the point of it they don't do the work fast.
  4. Daz did you nominante yourself to do this it's looking good, WAY better than what i have seen other clubs call a website.
  5. very Cool I want that one too now along with another from that range. Disease and health in parrots. (or something like that )
  6. I haven't hear budgies dieing from missng thie partner, that's is most liky a myth floating around and is more base on the fact both birds where sick with the smae thing and the owers didn't notice. If your family doesn't want another keep working with him a bond with budgies can be broken in around a week. With you working with him he will come to see you as he new 'partner'
  7. :(Laughing out loud): I see what you mean.
  8. Me too Bea I have one with Echo on my hand and him in the background but the flash was off and Echo head looks lit something from 'the ring' It would have been so cute for that I think Reep's wings are coming out white tipped I'll have some more piccies soon. Squeaker has some ble coming out on the tops of his legs And Echo has some darker blue there too.
  9. Yeah I think your right Rainbow. having another look now  Your better at picking these ones than me. She is a lot paler than normal greywings. I woud think Dilute.
  10. Isn't it fun getting a surpise blue in the mix
  11. *faints* YAY we got there  YF type 2 recessive pied. Yes I would say cobalt too,or one dark factor.
  12. it's good to hear her chewing at the entrance, Tootie did that for a few days then entered it and didn't look back from there

Sorry to hear this, if you try again with these two get ready (if you didn't this time) with some hand rearing formula, you can feed newborn chicks if need be. sometimes only one feeding is all that's needed to give some strength to call out for food that mum will then repond to and feed herself from then on.
  14. Guys this is very simply a mutation that many have seen around the boards Lovey has even stated it already. I have two of them (well not the pied bit) Una Little Muchie has almost the right colour. I thought you would have gotten it in a few guesses.
  15. Blue Greys???? do you mean mauve? They are bues with two darkfactores so you would pick the dark button for df. the sf is for cobalt.
  16. I would say Sky blue normal males split cinnamon and Skyblue normal females.
  17. Oh Hath I didn't notice the age. After 3 years you havea higher rate of egg binding and other problems with hens and eggs. If you really want to try keep this in mind and only let her have one ound if nothing happens this time don't try again.
  18. Just make sure Meeko doesn't turn into a egg eater, which you can get sometimes in budgies.
  19. Sorry If i'm wrong but these are the ones that have had a next box offered to them for a year? If so I think the best thing to do is remove the box or a week to two weeks, keep the birds together to keept he bond strong then re offer them the box. The hen might then take more interest in it as a nesting site. If this isn't so then, how old are the birds. How long have they been in the cage with the box? What food are you offering them? Question that cames to mind: how is the box set up? The first time I did it I had the box one way and the hen chewed and chewed and chewed the other side of the box from the hole as if she was trying to make her own. I moved it 90 degrees and she started to look at the hole and enter the box.
  20. good to hear
  21. yes I've known abuot this site for a while and used it, it take a bit to work out at first and you need to have some understand of muations to click the right things. Hurdy is right you need to tick the blue AND the grey for a grey bird or else it take it as greygreen. If blue isn't ticked the green is usd for everything. Oh just looked at the form again and there isnt a type1 choice. Well it works the same as the type2 so use that one. Not sure how you got cinnamon, make sure before you start to reset the form becuase it keeps your last clicked option.
  22. righto then
  23. sorry to hear that Kirby but as you said it was expected. Picture Updates, these where all taken this morning and I was shock I was able to handle three of them beofre Tootie realised I was up to something and left the breackfast plate to watch me Scuttle: Reepiceep: Berry: Echo: Squeaker: Group shot of the older three:
  24. Aww Lovey Do you wish to give up? One more hint: What is the type of colour and mutation you want?
  25. Yes they can handle it but if there is an option of halving it down (such as putting under another hen) it's healthier for the birds.
