  1. they look good enough to eat Where are the pictures of them enjoying the 'toy'? Glad it seems to be working for you.
  2. Then Skye is a cutie and a half That's my Pie. Thanks Kirby
  3. Here: I said they where not the best. Echo keep hopping in an out today and checking his balance on the branch. Very cute
  4. Ohh it's getting to the interesting stage where the bubs are coming out and checking everything to be found in the cage. So far Echo and Berry have come out yesterday morning and again today. Squeaker checked things out today as well for a moment. BUT Reepicheep has also come out both days! he only stayed near the box and looked around. Echo and Berry have tried a bit of freah food and seed themselves while Marine and Tootie where eating it. Today Echo worked out how to get to the branch and was sitting proud until Mum wanted past him and made his lose his balance. Poor little one. I have some pictures nothing great WIll try to get them up to show you later.
  5. glad to hear both you and Jim are doing great I love the bell thing I think many should take it up to train their birds to do that. Very helpful.

Well the one I used was the only one I found that stated it was BOTH non Toxic and water based. I was lucky and found it when it was 50% off
  7. Where more yellow tones (feathers) come through at each moult. Turning what was once blue (or grey) to green.

(Laughing out loud) I've had a nest box in the bottom of the cage before. The hen finally found out what to do (she layed a few outside the cage) and had three lovely babies. They will see it and putting the food near the hole is great.

The one I used was Artrite. Found in Woolies for around $1 for a packet of 12.
  10. I try to handle them all at lest twice a day, when the young one where still to small I would take one handle him the take the next after returning the first. Now I take all of them from the box together. Sometime just cuase I want to I will take one and cuddle it alone. Also so they learn this thing isn't going to take them all the time.
  11. Got you yes I give my lot that as well, they love it. I also this week gave a small branch of leaves for mum and dad to chew on (and bath in (Laughing out loud)) But so the babies would get a small taste of them as well.
  12. boy she is a cutie and a half I think your right with the violet. I couldn't have left her either.
  13. :bluebudgie: Good to hear. Remember infections in budgies look all alike at the start. But I know what you mean you mind just goes blank.
  14. very cute :bluebudgie: I like the differances in the had of the two (bubbles looks bigger)
  15. Yes Chirpy you did. I was in tears and I'm not an easy crier.
  16. Aww, where is the infection? Or is it too har to pin point becuase you caught it early. one drop of baytril is a small amount so it can't be that bad. is he enjoying his treat toy?
  17. what do you mean by grass? I give mine veggies all the time it's the best way to get the babies loving the stuff in life. Carrot, boiled eggs, bean sprouts, lettuce, corn. They love it all.
  18. Good Luck I hope it all comes down to a caring owner and nothing more.
  19. Anne that was stunning. the music was great. I'm lost for words really.
  20. Good to hear they are getting along. You at lest have reports from the vet giving the all clear many don't even do that. Now where is a photo of this cage? :(Laughing out loud):
  21. Eterri (hugs) I was hoping you saw this and that little mistchif maker Ringo was still cute Yeah the six got along alright. I'm not sure aobut the photos I'ld have to hunt through the tones of pictures I have and get back to you.
  22. Well with fingers crossed I might have a bigger and better cage for them, where I can hang heaps of swings and such up for them. (plus get more birds YAY) That is if I win the cage i'm after on ebay (i'm in the lead at the moment)
  23. :dbb1: Yes they are but I'm for the camp to call them show and pet not english and american. None of these bird have ever been off this island (just like me) (Laughing out loud) nope. I'm pretty sure she is she but most time I still say he (Laughing out loud). I don't think I will get any babies unless later one she forms a bond with another. Yes they did. The pictures are a bit misleading, Squeaker has very strong blue almost violet looking around his legs and Echo and Berry match the blue in the background in real life. But if I don't use flash they they are all fuzzy from movement.
  24. cute picture. I think snakes are cute. I love big carpet snakes
  25. :(Laughing out loud): I think Freckle does that too. I hear the angry noise and go out to see and she is on the rope while the others are miles way from her yet she is screaming her head off. I did notice yesterday that the seem to all settle in the afternoon. before the grumbling for sleeping spots start up.
