Genetics Test

Meet Bobby!
You could be right, his cheek patches are small so it's a bit hard to tell. I just know hard hard it is to get a violet colour to show in a picture. I don't see a bit of colour around the neck?? but that just might be me. Dutch pied will have a fuller pattern on the wings, almost like a normal rather than the dots and spots like Bobby here. About the cinnamon: I think what you guys are mistaking for cinnamon is the baby dullness in the feathers. Cinnamons are very clearly brown in colour.

Bad Pairings
Now wouldn't that be fun to see Karen Daz do you have plans for putting on of your birds in a show soon? Maybe one of the new bubs? I know what Hath means with the flecking, Tootie has some and while Reepi was younger she looked to be in the clear but it seems she will have some at the end of moulting.

Meet Bobby!
I agree with you on the violet Shawna but I don't see any brown markings. Max Bobby sounds a treat and I'm sure he will be a great little man with they way he is happy iwth hands already.

I Know Ive Probably Asked Before But......
they give a different patterning to the feathers, the australian one give a band (mostly) in the middle of the chest while this one give a sort of recessive pattern to the body colour. They were names for the area they occured in.

Lack Of Feathers After She Jumped In Water
the feather(or lack of) is normal, it's what hens use to brood on eggs and also where the two sides of the breast muscles come together as Rainbow said.

Going Away - Finding And Working With A Bird Sitter
Teehee It's a good site, if you hunt hard enough you will even see something by me on there With a LOT of spelling/typo mistakes. Poor Phoebe ( the bird) I thought she was going well.

New Budgie!
welcome I like Echo too I have a boy with that name.

Yellow Face
I say they should have a YF class doesn't matter about the bleed then just the shape and stance of bird is judged. Not that I know fully what is judged in a show (Laughing out loud).
