  1. it's a good idea to lighten the load on belle. Just don't move them until almost ready to hatch so as not to damage the devopling chick.
  2. Daz you just like to tease The clear ones are Ringo's two, she still hasn't laid any more. I am going to Lawton today for cermics (pine cermics) but I think I want to focus on her bonding with Kree more thank just giving her babies. DAZ GUESS WHAT!!!!!! Tootie hoped out of the box so I had a lookie at the egg, I hold the torch I use in the box very close to the eggs, so I'm not touching them to see the progress of red, and saw something in your egg so I picked it up and yep fine red lines showing up It's only day 4 for this egg I wasn't planing on checking but WOOHOOO, her own egg on that day is fertile as well so five possible babies now. Find out later today if she is going to lay any more.
  3. :(Laughing out loud): I love the shot of her upside down
  4. The links for a Kräcker candy sticks don't work as Lovely stated, are you meaning the thing in the last picture with Konrad? or a stick of normal seed, what we call a honey stick. She is beautiful. If you want to try normal seeds again put a little chunk of the stick seeds in the dish to see if she will eat it and around it. I'm glad you decided to join us after reading for a while. Hope to see you around more now
  5. when is the first set to hatch for you Kirby?? I would wait until the day before to move the egg, that way if Ariel doesn't get a chance to give up on eggs and chuck them all out including the foster ones.
  6. Teehee I remember my first baby budgie I did a dance/jumping maddly thing as well.
  7. :(Laughing out loud): It's Tootie's house I don't nit pick on their house cleaning. Just a note I've updated my site with pictures that work now
  8. All nice and warm still
  9. wonderful She looks so protective in that shot
  10. thank you I was thinking of the right guy , the one with the bleed of colour on the wings from being breed opaline to opaline Woohoo.
  11. Yeah I do that lin at the moment I'm trying to get a little patch of seeds growning in a box so I can refeed the sprouts to the birds.
  12. hey PP yes I want another like him seeing his looks In fact if a ge a few like him I could get a good price showing the out come with picures of Scuttle I also hope to get another like Reepicheap but a boy this time. okay Daz I'm lost on who is in cage 8 was that the pair with 8 eggs?? Friday and we get to see if your egg is fertile daz
  13. in case she lays more it might be an idea to give them the same number or something.
  14. wow all these posts since i last saw the thread in the after noon, I was dieing to see the ne ones :hap: Lola looks like Reepi I'm glad you have her and the other Candy so so cute. Poor Macey I hope all the babies get setted down with their new mum . Aww :hap: I love the video thank you Karen, i was laughing so hard when he was trying to clean his face
  15. :hap: Well I have a better name lined up for him if it works not that there's anything wrong with your's daz I can see a lot of mix up with three different spieces of Daz's :(Laughing out loud): Lin as been missing for a while and I havn't got an answer from her from an email I sent a few days back. :hap: Well she seems happy in the box and such so I can wait a few more days/weeks. adding: Tootie's egg number 5 is here (yesterday afternoon) but Ringo hasn't laid another since her egg number 4 (second in box) she is healthy and moving around so I'm not worryed about egg binding.
  16. YAY :ausb: He is such a cutie boy. I'm so glad he steped up for me the other day, not like he does for you leaping unto your hand but it was still cool for me.
  17. Might be an idea Lovely She was watching me to check I wasn't going to bring the "evil hand" into her box again Tootie is sitting super tight on them all now, I'm so so happy. I saw Scuttle on the weekend at my friends place and he is a stunning man a real dark aqua. :ausb: If I get another his colour I'm keeping it :(Laughing out loud):
  18. I'm not sure yet Kirby I don't disterb her in the mornings. I'll find out this afternoon sometime about her 5th. Daz that will be interesting to find out what happens. :ausb: I get to check egg number three today too. It's been two weeks now and by this week end the 20 odd days will be up with Kree and Ringo, now I'm torn on if I should leave them set up or not. If I do leave them I can use Ringo as a foster mum.
  19. If she is still sitting or interested in the box when Belle's hatch you can move the young over, as Daz said moving eggs in the middle of the time can kill the babies in the egg. Daz I don't want to over load them. :ausb: Ringo laid another egg as well again.
  20. okay if it's the same mum and son mix you had before which it sounds like ( can't see picture on this computer) then the son would be an oplaine spangle. And yes you have a chance of getting fallows from these two.

she really looks dominant pied to me. Are you sure of her age since they should have iris rings.
  22. :hap: All five are still safe. yes 5th (her 5th) egg tommorrow I hope she stops around that many. 6 is a good number :hap:
  23. Aww :hap: good Flash Some finally saw what I did from the start :hap: :hap: now I can't dream of seeing him in the post tommorrow
  24. :(Laughing out loud): I know, it was reading your post that got me to set up the cages a bit earilier than planned (around two weeks) Daz stopped on of his pairs so she didn't start round three ( or was it two??) anyway to stop the next clutch and she laid another egg after the lost of the box and thought instead of chucking it would see if I wanted to take it, see if it would hatch. If it does it will be the same colours as Tooties own chicks, either blue or yellowface blue.
  25. Ditto for me on Rainbows and Dingo's colours. Sorry to hear about the yellow :ausb:
