A Baby Is Hatching
yes , he really was scared of all the hens. first i put him in the breeding cage with a pet type cinnamon hen but she was not interested, so i put sheila in and a couple of days later i saw him feeding her. thank you for the offer regarding a bigger hen, i really appreciate it, but as i am not getting into showing at this stage the small size doesn't worry me. i will take some more photos of the chicks on the weekend...they are growing so fast. your more than welcome shes nothing to spesh just very nice head and breeding im more than happy to help you your lovely person i thought about it and if you want to come for a drive the yf violet opaline/lacewing is yours i figure im not doing so many pet breeding's just on request for hand tame chicks now so hes everything you want in one bird and will be so much more special to you than me as i can get all the mutations i want again i have the right pairings to do so im sure you do too but will cut out a year off your plan im sure hes coming out nice lovely mask one spots dropped down its deep but hes more a color breeding bird not show breeding i know you will love him so ... im clossing my eyes gritting teeth and saying your welcome to him

.okay houman its time we find a name for your baby so i can start to talk to him referring to him with his name i think he may be sky violet like i originally thought as did dean suggest but its a deep shade about 7 days ill know for sure ive also decided that since houman has been so patient and i know what a great home the little guys going to get im going to give him, him as a gift i recently found out that hes not only waited for the baby to be born but hes waited almost a year to be able to have a budgie friend thats got to be a special person to be so patient at such a tender age also i met his family and i feel in love they were all so caring toward eachother besides it is not like no ones ever given me a bird just a different circumstance mine were gifted to help me better my stock houmans will be gifted out of the knowledge that its going to be so so loved and he truly deserves something for nothing as hes a great young man and very well mannered im going to get some pics tomorrow if the rain pulls up by morning or avo of clutch but will be able to take pics daily of houman chick as for now on he spends 10 mins everyday with me today he stayed with mum as i want him to feather a tad more which only takes matter of a day or two- Canardly Miss

Thank you, they are really great parents and I will take some more photos of the young growing up in the coming weeks. The oldest chick is just about to open it's little red eyes....very sweet...and they are so big and fat. He was a great buy. Thank you, GB and nubbly5. I might keep 2 of the babies and sell the others. I will let you know before I sell them. The mum is a show type, but not show quality....he probably deserves a bigger and better hen, but he was very shy and not very interested in hens at all so I am happy that he liked Sheila. lol yes he was he was even scarred of my pet type hens remember i told you im so glad you found him a friend i can gift you a nice bigger cin hen if you like a light green from a flanagan x paoli breeding i have no use for her she is still young so no rush in getting her or a cinn grey from my albino line i have no use for her ether im only keepng ten of my hens i breed and two cocks the rest go well most are gone but i have a few left and your welcome to either one of thoughs hens as you been a great customer and a lovely person the cin light green is also opaline :}- Jlee's Breeding Journal

Help!
Why will you do the rest tomorrow? You should have done it all while you had the chick in your hand. I thought i would get them used to being out a little, besides i will do it when my mum is home to help tomorrow. megan you need to clean babys dayly also they wont be ready to leave cage intill at let you see them eatting alone for one whole week at the littlest i keep my chicks with mum and dad till they are not being feed supliment by dad this is mabe sometimes up to two weeks after they have fleged and eatting alone- New Guys With Scaley Face..
i admit i only ever just used one to back neck every 3 months but when i was told what i was by who well lets just say i trust them the parafin will defenently fix it just time consuming- Hanging Seeder Help
sounds like a chook feeder to me white plastic not clear with a hook through middle and a green tray with sections your not doing anything wrong but its a chook feeder not a budgie seed holder you can screw it up or down to let more feed out personally id just get a new one i use to have them and found two many probs with the birds even had one try get into it and head stuck- New Guys With Scaley Face..
i was told recently twice in two weeks for ivomectom i thought it was just once every three months but i was told that no twice if you suspect they have anything or they do have anything infact just do it once then two weeks later again to kill any new hatched pasties it did make sense to me so thats what im doing for now one this was by a well known breeder i would put her aside myself and id apply parraphin oil to her beak this blocks the tunnles and the mite can not breath you do it dayly for a week every day then in two weeks again for week then again in six weeks to kill any new hatched mite as incubation is 6 week cycle the scale will fall away also every time you clean her beak its bound to work rub on the legs also and feet around they eye try not to let hen eat as can give runns use cotton bud to aply makeing sure new bud is used each wipe- A Baby Is Hatching

i dont know if im eastern :bluebudgie: district but... our clubs auction is quiet good ,... its in june im pretty sure birds are very reasonably priced for people like me who dont have a lot of money to spend on big bids and not so reasonably priced if you want to push the bid up for a certain bird i was very very pleased with my birds and not one over 50.00 my cheapest was 30.00 for a really nice violet green yf cock from the borg and skivington stud , he has produced me some fantastic chicks all the birds i got were 08 rung i also got my beautiful full blood brothers an albino and his grey / brother the fathers to my beautiful albino chicks i guess it depends on who wants the bird really as to how much they go for as i was suprized i got my albino so cheep as the other ones went for much more from same breeder and hes got great bloodlines too my auction birds have turned out to be some the best birds in my flight ive culled a few times now and gotten rid of birds ive payed breeder top dollor for and my auction birds well im still very happy with and are my foundation so far to my best chicks produced infact if i had of saved the 500.00 dollors i spent on 7 birds i could have walked away with either two really good pairs or 5 to 7 still good birds from some of the top studs around we have like most other auctions interstate breeders and local last year we had birds from all over it was a great day everyone was friendly and willing to help me out and i met some my new bird related friends their i had no clue what i was doing and was helped with everything from recognizing a good bird and to when to put up my little thinggy (number ) their was lots of phone bids also i was helped by some of the people whom i never even dreamed id touch base with i hear this years going to be just as good if not better sounds to me like its going to be better all in all it was a great experience and a really enjoyable day - Web Based Misinformation!
