  10. Too soon to be talking success in a colony breeding situation Clancy. Heard the saying ? Dont count your chickens until they have hatched ? Talk success at the very end when you have happy healthy babies fledged with no broken eggs, budgie fights and dead chicks from invaded nests. yeah i know what your saying don't talk yourself up to an epic fail.but theres to sides to what you said theres the dont count all your eggs before there chickens but theres also the having ago about me colony breeding.I will reapt its MY CHOICE TO DO COLONY BREEDING and i am sick of repeating that i have my rights to decide and you are judging me and i will not judge you but you continue to judge me!!!!!!!!!!!!! no one is judging you mate it is your choise and if you dont like our opinions then dont share simple wish you luck this time round but be for warned if it all goes pair you will be eatting your words hopefully it will be fine collny breeding isnt always a nightmaire just how you do it and how much time you have to watch but kaz was not having a go where i see but i tell you one thing your the one sharing so take the good coments with the bad dont bite or just dont share to much finger pointing around here just breed your birds and be hap[py we all do it diffrent but remember who has to help with out question when things go wrong m thats right one the mods or other knolagable members like KAZ

  15. :hmm: :hap: :camera: i wonder :hmm: um houman you again
  16. look forward to pics :hmm:
  17. i only learnt by doing it myself it wasnt till later when i was told its actually not good i thought give enagy i didnt think about the bacteria growing rampard from ithe sugur
  18. its another one of though debate able things but im with splat i been told its illness not prems but prem can do italso but that chick was not to well weak so id say mum didnt feed as it was weak you fed it enough to gain enigy and hen warmed it more and then it was able to ask for food and was feed if left with mum would have died as she had already decided it was not right good job mate feels good saving one hay i had one like it but i moved straight away its healthy as two days it gained colour back new mum really took care as for if peronts are well or not unless you leave chicks their you wont know they will die anywhere from now to around two weeks if the mum and dad are sick they will look normal just bit white not pink when first hatched they die with food in crop usually prem is a cause but so is selmonelladont write it off
  19. gloucose or sugur can increase thebacteria by feeding it but on other hd can givestrength i wouldnt black tea week will healp heaps
  20. okay so tommy is looking like a tommy again lol he /she is very very sexually confussed byt is very cute im really anoyed i cant post pics as shim is growing fast and looking good training is still in early stages as shim cant fly as yet so dont know how things are going their yet but shim injoys company thats a good start

  23. wrong .................................. jimmy banks come on down no no wait wait the splatsta splat splat oh where oh where are you ????????????????????????????
  24. this could be just stress did she just regergatate or shake head and flung seed everywhere their is a diffrence did you read what i said about posting poo in mail ????? if i was you id take her out and away from other four and keep seperate yet again they may have chance but she may make them worst if stays in their as i said 5 at once more than cold
  25. ratzy i dont know what you set up is like but i know my set up is quiet free from draft i even took candles in to see how draft proof it is as i was told by vets my birds are dieing from draft related pneoumnia their is no draft acording to candles and it was blowing a gail my frount door security one blew off ripped wooden frame off it was that strong still no draft flames did not flicker anywhere i walked the whole aviry how ever thats what autopsy showed up so ????? birds were not in it when i did this birds can be fine one day and sick as the next but ..... if all 5 of 6 birds are sick at once then im thinking you have something more than a cold mate you really really need to find out what it is vets do samples through the post so you could easy send a poo sample over night delivery heat will help but keep liquards up also no greens seed only try putting some rock salt in a small dish if they want they can take it also i like to put rearing mix in hospital cage too incase bird doesnt feel like eatting fill whole cage with seed on floor so they can just put head down and eat if they not to good having to get to dish may make diffrents to weather they eat or not good luck and keep really warm but im afraid you really need to get to a vet or at least get vet to sample poo and or crop dont have other bird in same room as if it is air born it too will become ill wash hands thourouly before handeling any birds that are not in sick cage and tend to sick birds last not before healthy birds please keep us updated
