  8. well i think he is a rec pied from a dom split receive pied and a split rec pied pair i have a few kaz and he does not have enough wing markings to be a dom so.... sorry to be diffrent but im sticking to this as my rec looks dom but its rec for sure and i get one each clutch they are paired the rest clutch are all doms though and all hens so far have been split rec pied through out the generations
  9. just the smallest little dot of yellow stuff is needed seed is not good nor is air is mum new mum i wouldnt worry though and if you say it has some food in crop i would just leave this bird now check in morn you could be disturbing mum

Not sure if it is cheaper for frieght if you travel in the same cage as the bird. Hmmmmmm. not sure i want to be caged in with the birds lol think i will stay home i will send you a vial of my violets manhood lol next year you can ai your hen ( imagined if this was poss would change breeding for ever for worst i think )

  14. rip how do you tell a brown wing when its matured i have a spangle 2 year old no spot on head just spangle lite green its got brown eyes and its irise ring is also brown you can just see it it is their could it be a full spangled winged rec pied or a brown wing spangle although its wings look black to me ???
  15. generous but pretty pointless the hen wont learn to raise if she doesnt have a chick to learn with myself if i was you do you know anyone who would live close by who has mabe a 3 day old chick that you could place in the nest when second egg due ??? as that would get the hen to feed and also raise one bub so next time thibgs will run smooth this is what happens putting only on or two pairs up you need at least 3 to 4 pairs each time you breed for encases like this and this hen should not be breed straight again not for at least 6 or more months hence why rens offer not very efichant
  16. birds eat seed their idiots you dont find pellets growing out in the wild do u just as you been doing and extra stuff as per norm why no to probots i dont know why the lady would say he didnt need them well great to hear hes home
  17. its good your birds are loving it kaz next time try getting a mix with the actual chaff as well with tad of malaise birds love it and still get the pellets its good as a prevention against eating the poo on floor as the prefer to nibble the little sticks of weet and grasses my birds love it i get one called jack rabbit its cheep as per 20 kg and lasts for ever if stored right i was told red hen chicken pellets but haven't tried as yet so....
  18. this hen is defenently yf rec pied opaline spangle i breed all time i think if you go back look at the post i did say i think she was either mauve or violet not sure if i mentioned the opaline and spangled im going to say oviously not it is hard from pics to see opaline and spangle in a yf rec pied even in life its not till chicks fleged i can some thimes tell dad is as said split opaline so that above is your awnser as kaz said df who cares what colour its the factor needed when breeding so as you can work out what colours you can get in future
  19. my praying he pulls through
  20. it that how they do it kaz i really wasnt sure so i have never done it in my show birds just pets i was going to ask how you did it but though i would just wait untill i get myself organize before makeing things more complexed could you do a quick how to do in point form what age chicks can be extra or is the above itI dont remove the hen at chicks aged two weeks. I have some hens from a breeder who does this and the hens in my opinion have been conditioned to only rear chicks to the 2 wk old stage, then they either want them out of the nest and pluck them or push them out, or they stop feeding thinking their job is done. I wont do it due to this reason. okay i will just do it the good old way in time  besides their is no benifits to rushing second rounds the out come is the same
