thanks kaz i just thought everyone can see how i tame my babys from small to be very lovable friends also how booking a baby to order also can be of benifit you if you can find a breeder willing to do this for you i know of a few around me being one of them but patiance is needed houman i belive i can only breed birds with no dark factor so no mauve or cobalt the pair i put up last week the pet pairing they would produce mauve ,violet,cobalt chicks as both have a medium factor and one bird being visually violet could produce a violet the mauve hen gives a better chance of this sorry i lie that pair one is medium one is a dark factor (the mauve hen ) see i so need a genetics refresh on colours ps cheaked chick before night fall still doing strong mum doing great job as is dad just think in one sleep he will have a little brother or sister pinky to help him keep warm (ps its mabe not a him but who cares right now not me )

sorry darl i only just came on line tonight even when im here im not always lol the white stuff i think your refering to is its called gap sealer its a plaster bassed water washable when its dry it will block leaks but when wet you can wash it off if it gets messy if your trying to stop leaks its best to do from outside its a sallys brand where your leak is go from outside to fill so birds cant chew it as much my job really is a bodggy job lol thanks clearwing yes its rather windy and cold in gippsland and splat i wish it was wine but it was just nails and it was hard putting it together alone with no help but im useto doing everything on my lonesome so always manage im pretty deturmain lol so even if it takes a month of sundays id do it thanks houman its working well so thats wht i like to see the aviry happens to be in the wind spot

dont get me wrong i dont think the bird should be of small states i still belive it needs to have quality of show bird in size and feather structure just belive that a bird with perfict variaty markings should take out first over one who my have same substance yet is of lesser in its variaty does this make any sence i say this as have seen some beautiful birds miss a win due to one bird being just that bit better feather rather than the smae size birds with just a tad less feather yet perfict for its variaty seems weird to me thats all Gb , this is how it has to be , otherwise you could have a pet shop opaline say with perfect markings winning, against a bird of sudstance which wouldnt be right. The only way it can be changed is by changing the Matrix so that composite varieties are not allowed on the show bench , Breeders would still breed them but would not be unable to show. well the hen is split to blue and of no dark factor the father is skyblue with a single factor of the modifying gene violet so by rights we shall get skyblues skyviolets and m my brains out of genetic colour code as i been just breeding to get good birds none colour related so this to will help me houman i dont think you can actually get a visual violet from this pairing as no dark factor in either mum or dad

not only do you get better breeding rezults but you can notice if a birds acting off for its normal self and stop your whole flock from becomming ill and save the bird in question just by noting its personality trates

hello everyone our sight member houman was wanting a baby budgie ---tame so i did my best to try tame a bird my friend had from her last pet type clutch for him but failed very badley she was very nasty and never been handled in nest so i asked houman would he like to wait and i could breed him a baby from start to finish and we would gain a way better rezult so as he waits the fun has began the first chick has hatched today feed and healthy 29th march at 630am this morning dark eyed pinky pics not to good as cloudy out mum a cinnamon opaline light green dad a skyviolet dom pied normal so the tameing of a friend for life begins incase this clutch doesnt work out as you can never be to sure of these things i have ten pair on eggs all due to hatch this month of april this threads for you houman enjoy

it depends on the judges and personally i like the birds to win based on varierty nice bird though its really a shame and its really sad that a cracker so to speak will win over a more well placed bird of certain perfection in its varierty Yes it is , Unfortunately composite varieties are destroying the true variety bird, But you get 60 pts for the bird first , so if you have a cracker then you will be way infront of the field.

yes seems to be true my show stock stay with peronts longer and play like children longer also why i have toys in flight i think he will get bit bigger hes from good stock do you have a picture resent one i could give you idea what size to expect him to get to Is that true? I've always thought it's just the size difference. I hope he grow bigger, he's 46 grams now. does that mean mentality wise he will be kiddo for longer?

thanks last year i brought clear plastic from bunnings and then taped it on so this year i decided to do the cling wrap as the plastic was not breathable and i didnt like the humidity great bacteria grower so this year i can remove side blinds if need be the frames i made that i wrapped the cling around have shade cloth on them and i can remove very quick and easy as i can put on if rain decides to come with out warning the frames are their summer and winter and come off on hot days but on every nigt winnter i cling wrapped as shadecloth still lets in drafts
