He looks fine to me.. but if anyone can see something i can't let me know. looking at something.. He needs a new perch. I'm gonna go find some more tree branches later when it cools down a bit.. everyone likes their mirror's lol angry face umm sideways? it's been really hot today, so all my birds have had a shower or two. Laila loved it too! lol MUM! i hate you! he always looks so angry.. he is sorta drenched though.. lol But he needed it. He doesn't look like he's about to die from the heat now.
  2. So, If i bred Sam and Laila.. what would i get? There are photo's of both of them floating around the board..
  3. Trish picks the next song. She got it right. lol I love that song at the moment.. lol
  4. New game. Guess what song the lyrics are from and if you get it right, you can add new ones. A close encounter with a hardhearted man Who never gave half of what he got Has made you wish you'd never been born That's a shame cause you got the lot
  5. Super Mario Galaxy is awesome! I recommend it to everyone! Mario Party is also pretty good.. great for when you've got poeple over.
  6. Milo and Zulu were gorgeous! sorry for ur lose 2budgies. lol oh my god! jwancia your are so right... bit of an age gap though.. Jigsaw is only about 4 months old. mb, she isn't a russian blue! She's a moggy that look exactly like a russian blue.. Her mum was black and her dad was gray and white..
  7. Yeah, thats the cage. I've moved him out of it already. I have another cage that i got from my mum, but it hadn't been used for ages and hadn't been cleaned out for longer, by the look of it.. Anyway, I got it cleaned up this morning and used it to take mums bird to the vet. Poor girl I cleaned it up again when i got home and now have Cheeky in that.
  8. Pursia is gorgeous! and I've always love ginger cats. Shanti is a cutie too. I used to have an adopted stray. Me and my aunty found 3 kittens in a bin behind a factory and we took them all home. Lots of scratches and bites later, we had the 3 best behaved cats ever!
  9. That aviary is so awesome! exactly what i want! lol, but i really don't think i'm gonna be a ble to make one like that on my own  ... lol I'd love to go have a look at it some time if you wanna have me over?
  10. And anothter cat! lol my mother-in-law's. She used to be mine, but i've moved in and out of this house atleast 5 times and every time i moved the cat she would freak out so the last time that happened I ended up giving her to my mum in law cos she loves her lol Jazzy not to good indoor photo sleeping. She's a bit big for her basket now, but she still loves it. lol I've sorta given up taking photos of her, cos she always closes her eyes.. it's pretty funny though..
  11. I'm trying to get my fiance to take the mirror out, but he's one of those guys' that won't take my advice. I'd remove it, but he'll just put it in again.. I'll have to show him that you said to remove it
  12. There is already a dog one, and I've seen a few people mention that htey have a cat/s so thought I'd better get this started.. Here is my kitten Jigsaw! in the chritmas tree  on the couch when she first saw Cheeky lol funniest thing ever!! she just sat there for ages staring at him like that.
  13. aww, he is so cute Chrissy. It looks like we've named him Cheeky, unless my fiance comes up with something better... (which i really doubt is gonna happen.. ) He is great, but as the one htat cleans up all the birds mess I really am beggining to dislike him. (just a lil bit.. ) He gets in his seed bowl and kicks the seed out. When we first put him in the cage the dish had a cover/ood thing over it to stop such stupid things.. but he kept getting stuck in the bowl.. so i changed it to a bowl without a cover and I've only had a little bit of seed in it at a time. but he's still doing it. What can i do to stop him?! also got these one's  Didn't mean to have the camera that close to his bum.. but oh well. it's funny. bad photo of him upside down.. He was hot, so i gave him a bath. he loved it! lol
  14. Closest to me is Springvale according to that list.. which is a good hour and a half - 2 hours away..
  15. Took him to the vet today. She said that It is a feather cyst, but she said I should wait till next week, for her boss to get back from holiday's so he can deal with it... That's fine isn't it??? It hasn't really been bothering him much really, so what's another week?...
  16. I took her in this afternoon. They had to put her to sleep. Her feet were heaps worse then I thought they were and apparently what the photo's made them seem. :fear My poor lil girl I've got Sam in quarantine. and told my mum that she isn't allowed to have anymore birds EVER until she looks after them properly. Now she just has her cat, which is perfectly fine..
  17. I'd love to go! but unless i can convince my fiance to come too it's not gonna happen.. I don't really like the idea of sitting on a train for 2.5 hours by myself.. but if he drives... OMG! just had the most brilliant idea.. our last holiday to Albury/Wodonga was cut short cos i got sunburnt and was complaining He wants to go back up there soon, so.. we leave the morning of this meet up, get to your place, spend some time getting to know people, then we head up to Wodonga and finish our holiday. Perfect. He won't take me unless i convince him he wants to go that way anyway.. :fear I'm a genius!
  18. lol I know, Fresh eggs are awesome, thats the only reason mum-in-law wants them. I want them for my vegie patch, I used to have chickens when I lived with my parents and they kept all the bugs and stuff away.. Plus they are cute!! :fear
  19. YAY! congrats. :fear
  20. okay, i rethought it. I'm thinking, have the chooks on the grass and make them their own little house thing thats like.. chook sized.. for them to go in at night, but having the whole lot wired up so i can let them out when i'm out there, but they are locked up when i'm inside or away from the house, and then have my aviary on the verandah sorta where i've got my birds now.. or there is a bit at the end of the verandah that has the laundry window right there, so i could get into it from the house. I'd love to have my chooks just wandering around the yard, but my fiance and his mum both have cats that pretty much kill anything that moves.. and there has been a stray hanging around that looks just about hungery enough to kill a chook or two..
  21. I'm ringing the local vet tomorrow, i've heard the people on monday's are nicer.. Hopefully I can get someone to look at her and take care of Cloud's wing in the same trip.. Also, i'm going to get Sam and i'm goin to quarantine him. I hope He is okay.
  22. Can I do it? My mother in law (almost) wants chickens, but there isn't exactly much room in the yard that I think is appropriate for my birds.. Or could i have it somehow so that the chickens have a separate bit for during the day with grass and stuff but they can get in the aviary at night or something.. cos the aviary is gonna have a roof to keep everyone dry.. and i'm making it myself with my limited skills.. someone wanna design this thing for me?... if it's okay to have them together that is...
  23. Today, my mother of all people, confessed that she isn't taking very good care of her birds. The hen has something very wrong with her feet part of her left foot her right foot When I went over there today I was devastated! These bird's used to be mine! and worst of all my mum didn't even tell me something was wrong with her, my dad did! Is there anything i can do to help the poor girl? and what should I do about the cock, Sam? He was my first bird and if anything happens to him because of my mum's neglect... this may seem dramatic but, I don't think I could ever talk to her again.. The other hen i gave her died the day she put them in the aviary. mum said it was from a spider bite.. which seemed plausible, so i let it go, but now... The aviary she has them in used to be a chicken coop, and then it had ducks in it. The ground is just dirt and straw and is fairly disgusting.. The chickens died and mum never told me how, I wasn't even in the state when it happened. and the duck's had mites. I sold the ducks when my parents were out of town and i said they escaped and there was nothing i could do to get them back.. I'm thinking I should take Sam to make sure he's alright. I just dunno what to do about the hen.. her left foot is really bad, the rest of it is like the black bit you can see.. and she can't even stand on a perch properly, Sam sit's behind her and she lean's on him. Is there anything a vet could do for her? I'm hopefully going to the vet on wednesday for Cloud's wing, should I take her in and see what they say? I can't believe my own mother could let this happen.. My poor baby's :hi:
  24. YAY! McLeod's Daughters! :hi: naw poor JB, good luck with the shoes mate
